yeah, it's a shame. This summer a support member from adobe made a remote session and diagnosed the problem correctly. So Adobe has the most detailed bug report possible (he operated several hours). Yet no bugfix. PS: don't the presets in the new open dialog sync? Would be quite a shame for not doing so ...

Actually Preferences > Page Display > Rendering > Smooth Text: For Monitor solved the Problem. But I don't know, how and why this setting got active, especially on two machines. Moreover Resolution is set to Custom 110 instead of Use system settings. I never changed these options so I would like to reset Acrobat to default settings. How do I reset it?

Version: Adobe Acrobat DC 15.017.20053 Winver: 1511 (10586.545) Recently I noticed that all my PDFs including externally received PDFs are viewed overly sharp (with default fonts like Arial). It looks extremely ugly at div. magnification levels, better at 100% but still spacing looks weird. Happend on two different devices (PC and Laptop). In my memory, the PDFs always looked better. Word documents and other texts (like here) look way better. What could be the cause? Did not make any relevant system changes lately. Examples: 75 % 100 %

First of all it is extremingly frustrating, shame on you adobe! 2) I got a small workaround that works for me. I Simply add a shortcut to the Downloads folder to my Windows Taskbar. When I open the Downloards folder this way, it does not open multiple windows when I open a subfolder. How? See: Windows 10 Forums 3) Instead of posting here, please POST BUG reports and annoy the crap out of the adobe support team: Feature Request/Bug Report Form​ or even better, contact adobe directly: Contact Customer Care - always include a link to this thread!

Update: I reinstalled the whole system and it still shows up. Directly after the installation of Adobe CC, only Adobe CC showed up in the Autostart menu. Even after a restart still nothing (and the entry still had "boot time - no measured"). After the boot time was measured, same subentries as above appeared.

While checking some autostart apps, that I could possibly deactivate, I found something strange. There are multiple entries for "Adobe CEF helper", "Conhost" and "icacls.exe". All grouped under the Adobe Creative Cloud. On my other machine, Conhost and icalcs.exe don't appear at all and Adobe CEF helper only once. They do not noticeably create any errors, however, it's not feeling right. I don't know exactly when these entries appeared for first time. The device is pretty new and I just installed a bunch of work related software like Office 365, Adobe CC, Chrome, ... When installing Filezilla, some bloatware/adware was automatically installed on the system (blame sourceforge, see download comments over there). Currently I'm testing Kaspersky Internet Security, 30 days trial. But I don't think none of them is to blame. I would personally like to avoid reinstalling Adobe CC, because it lasts forever. Q: What might have caused these entries? Should I correct it? And how should I correct it? System: Windows 8.1 64bit on an fairly new ASUS GL550JK. Thanks.
