I too am having issues with MapBox in the trial version of Elements 2019. I am having to re tag photos for almost every version of Elements I have bought which is so annoying when the catalog has 50,000 plus items! The geotag remains unchanged in the older versions of Elements as I double checked with Geosetter but when I open all my Thai photos in 2019, they all revert to Bangkok - not very useful I find the map quality within MapBox very poor in places - is anyone else having this issue? I too have the same problem - mine disappeared 3 days ago. I know there was an issue back in 2017 which was fixed last November and it had been working until now. Adobe, have you got any ideas please?

I have a similar issue but with Elements 12. It was working up until 2 days ago but in the last 48hrs the maps do not launch and neither can you see the red tags on the map. The program is also shutting itself down every 10-15mmins. I likewise have all Adobe and Windows 10 updates installed. The issue 12 months ago was fixed and I too hope it is a shortened version of the 3 months downtime! 17th Aug - issue has not gone away - anyone else having issues?

thank you - I've downloaded Speccy as suggested and realised that I obtained the latest upgrade to NVIDIA GeForce GT 705 yesterday. PE is still crashing, any further suggestions.

on first appearance, some flags are there but when I enlarge the map to get closer details then the flag disappears. Also when placing new photos on the map, the flag is not visible at all when dragging it to the map. I still get a box asking me whether I want to place it on a spot however once tick yes again no sign of the flag placement, yet I can geotag. very strange... any ideas?

In the past 24 hours I have noticed that all the placement tags are missing from my maps. I have checked that they are geotagged (blue place marker seen in Organiser and checked the metadata gps data in the information section - all good) prior to the issue arising today (flags seen) had saved the metadata to each file changed and confirmed this in file explorer. I'm using Windows 10. I've rebooted, changed no other settings, nor moved picture files etc. Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or has anyone got any ideas how to get the tags back ? I am using Windows 10 (for the past 2years) and Photoshop Elements 12. Elements keeps crashing every 20-30mins no matter what I am working on in the Organizer. It never used to crash however I noticed it started crashing soon after the issue of the Google Maps connection was resolved late last year. Anyone got any thoughts?

I've had to change my hard drive as the previous one gave up completely With it went Photoshop Elements 12 which I had purchased last year downloading from the website. I've tried downloading v12 again from the website as I do not have the media. I get a zipped file from which I extracted the files but I cannot find an exe file to run the program. I'm running windows 8. Any ideas as to how to run/open the program? Thanks K
