Suddenly, when I use the brush tool to create a mask on a black-and-white image, and then adjust the exposure slider the masked area, turns to a color instead of just adjusting the brightness. It used to just adjust the brightness, but something has changed and I don't know what. I need help to fix this.

I am on a Mac Pro late 2013 running Photoshop 22.3. When trying to save an image for web to a desktop folder I get an error "Could not complete this operation, A write permissions error has occurred". Can anyone help me fix this issue?

Thanks Nancy-however, it's unacceptable to crop the image. Creating a canvas size of 24x20 and then using content-aware-fill works at the bottom of the image but at the top creates such a mess that I don't think I can fix it. Are you familiar with creating a vector layer and using free transfer scale to enlarge the image without distortion? I read about this somewhere.

I am enlarging to a custom size so the link between height and width is turned off. When turned I am able to make a 24x16" print and I want to make a 24x20" print. Is there a way to do this and avoid any distortion in the foreground of the image? That is the question and what I'm trying to accomplish. I am using Photoshop cc 2018.

Thanks. Used to have one catalog but split them up to try to get a performance boost. Did't really happen. Now I'm thinking you are correct. One catalog is the way to go housed on my internal drive. Since my previews are the largest part can I put them on an external drive with my .lrcat on my internal drive? How do I go about combining the 3 catalogs into one single catalog?

I have 3 volumes each with it's own catalog. On one of my volumes my previews and my ircat documents are duplicated. Can I combine these? How do I make sure I won't loose any images from a ircat if I delete it? Can I just delete the older one?
