I can't select+drag+option code in the code view area and in the Find and Replace area, it only works in Design view. It even shows the green plus sign while doing that, but it only moves the selected code, it doesn't leave a copy behind. DW CC 19, macOs High Sierra 10.13.6.

This seems to be a step in the right direction. In PS CS6 I select and copy the image from InDesign, paste in a new doc in Photoshop, with the intention of creating an image with double the dimension specified in the html code for the img tag -- that's what the action you created is doing. I tried exporting a png in InDesign CC using 144ppi, but the options are 72, 96, 150 and more, and Photoshop allows for more detailed control of quality, so that's out of question. I'll try your solution and see how it feels. I really want to let go from CS6, but things like these are an issue when you use a routine several times a day.

Photoshop CS6 opened new images from the clipboard with the resolution of the previously opened image. Can I do that with CC? It's a pain to prepare images for Retina by copying files from InDesign and then having to resize them in CC, when CS6 does that easily.

Same thing here, but I use two Macs for work, one with High Sierra, I believe the other, an iMac, has Sierra (not accessible at this moment, as the office is under construction, I'm WAH for the period it lasts). Both have the problem. It took me a while to figure what was happening, as the red dot is not visible in DW and it causes links to not work, they get the path to the file prepended to the actual link on browsers. What I do is copy the link to TextEdit, select only the link and copy it back, that removes the extra character, but still, it shouldn't be happening.

I'm almost sure DW's behavior was not that before installing High-Sierra -- it would use the folder of the html I was working on as the default when inserting images, without defining sites, as I'm using the "relative to: Document" setting. So, with the images saved in the same folder, it would immediately show its contents without the need to browse and find the folder, which is what it's doing now.

I use DW CS6. When I go to insert an image for the first time (meaning, it's the first time anything was opened in that folder), it always shows the wrong folder. Before, it opened the folder where the html file is in, which should be the default. I'm not sure whether that happens with DW CC as well, but CC is not an option. Will I be stuck with that behavior because CS doesn't get updated anymore? My work requires me to have jobs in job folders, so I code several html files a day and every new job has that happening. It's not only annoying, but productivity suffers. Does anyone know a solution?

Yes, I forgot about that. Unfortunately, changes in corporations don’t always follow the rhythm of software developers, even being a top 100. I don’t think anyone in the creative department there has CC, and I wonder if it also has the bug. If not, it might be a solution to get it to replace CS on machines that need the Find and Replace. Well, it’s happening in CS6’s Dreamweaver’s Find and Replace. The only other possibility would be the OS, but it’s not limited to Macs, I’ve seen Windows users complain as well. I have CS6 and CC on my home computer, it has been through all OSX versions since 2011, never had the issue since I started using the find and replace this way. Sent from my iPhone

I just had my work machine replaced from an iMac with i5 processor to an iMac with i7 processor, same OSX Sierra, same CS6, now I have the problem. My and others' work totally depends on using the search and replace on inlined code, several times a day, otherwise I'm going to have to bring my home laptop to work, or find another software to do this -- then it can be bye, bye to the Adobe suite for our whole department, if this doesn't get fixed soon. I can just hope Adobe fixes this, quickly.
