I am editting video shot in both mp4 4k 25 fps and .mts 25fps 1980 1080 both on the same Panasonic hc vxf990 camcorder whilst I was messing about with it I am happy to reduce the 4k files down to 1080 and it exports fine. the raw .mts files play poorly in vlc player unless deinterlaced and in deinterlacing there are too many options and to my uneducated/untrained eye there isn't much difference between linear blend etc but I can remove the thin lines when the .mts clips are edited in prem pro cc they come out with annoying thin horizontal lines and ive tried a number of things but can anyone save me time and give me an easy fix? at the moment the only way I can see is to select every clip on the timeline and select flicker and frame blend but even then the resulting image looks a bit "jerky" especially under quick panning not exactly jerky but 2 people walking in the distance will look like 4 then 2 then 4 sort of hard to explain  ive tried to select sequence settings no fields but get thin horizontal lines with a bit of extra noise unless I also select field option flicker removal on each clip so is there a golden rule with .mts files? its not a cpu hardware problem because the mp4 clips - even 4 k play lovely and edit down fine. ...
