Since its occurring with applications other then Adobe products, one I'm not sure if 3rd party devs can do something to suppress the warning from popping up, or two, if we are going to have to wait for Apple to address it in an update of Sierra. I need to check in on a thread I started at Apple community but I need to submit through the Apple Dev bug ticket system as well.

I've squashed the errors in Illustrator and InDesign but I still get a few of the same errors to pop when I open Powerpoint for the first time. Not that I really want to have to open that software but just saying, its not independent to Adobe products.

Interesting so Sierra seems to some how be causing the issue if its present in older Adobe software. Unless Adobe can suppress the warning from even firing.

Thanks Dan, I ended up hitting the download button just to make it go away and yeah it was downloaded. Nothing here that is effecting workflow, I'm just a bit OCD and would prefer a tidy font menu of only fonts I would actually use. I know thats ALLLLLL me. ha

Hey Dan, did you see if the fonts actually downloaded? I typically like to remove the foreign language fonts from my system to tidy up but its gotten harder to get some out of the system. If it does download the font and I move it back out, assuming the message would come back. Wonder if there is a way to remove the foreign lang. requirement from Illustrator? Or if the app can be updated to not look for these fonts.

Okay so scratch that, the Suitcase Fusion did not fix the pop up issue. Once hitting skip and shutting down the application and restarting it I didn't see the pop up, but after a machine restart the pop up messages came back. I guess next time I see them I'll just go ahead and hit Download.

dmichl - I too was only getting this with Illustrator as far as CC products go. Like I mentioned in another post above, I got it in MS Word as well. Those were the only two programs where I saw it. I reviewed Extensis' notes about the last two updates that referred to their bug fix saying it fixed an issue to make the box not show up erroneously which may have been my case since I'm not seeing it now post fix. Since you don't have (and assuming never had) a font management program I'm not sure what to tell you between Sierra and Illustrator.

Thats it. I was getting that plus two or three others for both Illustrator and Word. Do you use a font management program like Suitcase Fusion? Look to run any updates available for your font software.

Man you gave in?! HA I came in with the same problem as well as with a fix! I wasn't just getting this in Illustrator but same messages for the same fonts from MS Word. It is CERTAINLY related to the install of Mac OS Sierra as that was immediately after that it started. However, when I updated my font management software Suitcase Fusion to version 18.1.2 the problem went away. Actually, in all previous version of OS I would remove the unused foreign fonts from the system folder up until they locked down the root. I've yet to do the Terminal commands to turn that off to remove the unwanted fonts, and turn it back on.

When using Acrobat on desktop, one tool we use for internal commenting is rectangle tool in the "Drawing Markups" palette. Once you draw a rectangle, if you double click the red border of the box you can add a text comment which basically adds a sticky note to the box border. However, when viewing that PDF on the Adobe Acrobat iOS app, the red box is visible but there is no way to see/view the comment added with it. As a side note, the iOS app "iAnnotate PDF" allows the bubbles to be tapped and viewed. Please don't comment on the process mentioned above, not looking for a work around, looking to have this looked in to and fixed in a future Acrobat iOS release.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm setting it up for the first time and one I'm not exactly sure how I add the beta enttilement to the Dist provision as most of the documentation I come across discusses xcode. I've done the step of setting up in itunes connect but as for the provision do I just do a new download of the mobileprovision or do I actually have to select something along with the other devices I've already selected for the provision?
