Hi Wes, It is like you forecasted - for dual gpu systems the Intel driver makes the difference in these days. I downloaded (manually) the newest Intel driver that was available yesterday. Installed - and the crashes with 13.1 are gone. I am not sure if I have maximum perfomance. The rig seems to need to render where Premiere 2018 (and 2016 etc.) did not, although the Nvidia monitor cleary shows that GeForce 1060 is doing the work. Hi Wes, that Intel tool in my case "only" installs the driver version that the Windows System config will install, too. Fun thing is, that newer drivers exist. I have 2 very similar systems sitting side by side (2 mid-range gaming notebooks - 1 Acer, 1 MSI). Both equipped with Intel HD Graphics 630. The Acer will only update unto driver 21.20.16.4627 (Intel), the MSI unto 22.20.16.4708. The MSI is the older rig, but it runs Premiere 2019 without problems, the Acer is 1 year newer, but it crashes. ... View more

Sorry, that doesn't help at all. v13.1 crashes 0 seconds after loading, on a Windows system with dual GPU, new drivers for both. I have 4 independent Windows systems with different current hardware (all with Geforce). Only on one system, v13.1 works smoothly. 2 systems crash, and 1 obviously works without Cuda, with tedious rendering. I have been working with Adobe Premiere since 1995. All through the years when you had to sav your projects every ten minutes. But Premiere 2019 is the worst piece of crap software they have released in the last 20 years. Am Di., 13. I'd like to report that the 416.16 driver seems to solve the problem in my case. The crashes I had with the 416.34 did not reappear. Caution: I had no time for extensive testing. But a test project worked smoothly for 15 minutes, where i had crashes every minute before. My GPU is a GTX 1060 (notebook) with a i7-7700 CPU and 16 MB RAM. Thanks for your help! Ludwig ... They are clueless. I'd really like to know if this whole release is buggy, and they have triliions of users complaining. Or we are the only ones, with an unlucky configuration. In this case v 13.0 I can't believe it. It has never happened before that there are only a handful of unlucky ones if a bug goes cross platform. I appreciate your compassion, Carlos! Minimum requirements are met in my case (that would be too much of a joke - I switched to this rig 9 months ago because Premiere, of all apps, did require it). I would love to be able to help solving this riddle. But I decided to restore my Windows to a restore point 10 days ago. Now my old Premiere 2018, v 12.1.2 is running smoothly.
