Adobe XD

In a scenario where you have a symbol master and a symbol instance with different text styles, if a plugin updates just the text field of a symbol master text layer, the symbol instance text style changes. It changes strangely such as keeping all properties except bold, etc. If I just type into the symbol master, the symbol instances changes correctly. What is the correct way for a plugin to change a symbol master text layer text and have Adobe XD properly propagate the changes to the symbol instances? This seems to be alluded to in the Adobe XD plugin documentation, but is there a work around or a right way to do this?

I am working with a Windows Desktop. In XD the record button to record the prototyp animation can't be clicked on. Instead an information to press WIN+G is shown. With this shortkey the XBOX Game Bar is opened, where you have the option to do a screen record. The problem is... the animation is already done when you are ready to press the record button on XBOX Game Bar.How come the record button of the XD software itself is shown but doesn't react for record?? Hi,I've decided to change opacity of buttons' disabled state. Now all customized buttons in my design reverted to their default template state from cloud document. I have a lot of buttons in my design, so manually fixing them one by one is not an option. Is there any way to fix this? Or at least is there any guide on how should I use linked components so that they don't revert to their original state?This is a very urgent question, because my work is totally ruined now. Update: I've tried to capture this issue step by step with a new document with new lincked assets, but could not replicate exactly the same behavior. Instead I've got another issue which ruined buttons components in my design. Added new video attachment.Update 2: I've got a new issue, after making a local component from a linked one it lost it's Default state and the ability to add new states. I can not attach an Adobe XD file here for some reason but here is rhe screenshot. 

When selecting an asset or artboard, I am unable to export from File > Export. This usually triggers a new window with further option controls that is now not appearing. File > Import also no longer works. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling and removing all presets/plugins.  Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

.47.1.22.2 (x64)imac (retina 5k, 27-inch, 2017)monterey, 12.1 when i work in it, there is a considerable lag. i end up having to reboot computer. or something else is going on with this version that's causing my entire worflow. (have not introduce or work in any new apps, adobe or otherwise... same set of apps and same setup; most noticeable when working in xd)

The "Preserve Scroll Position" check box is not staying checked. I am checking and then it uncheckes automatically. Why is this happening?

Hi, im new using XD. I dont know if its possible by now, but  Im trying to have 3 states in a button and an action. It is for a slider. I want to have an arrow, that has hover and pressed state, but also that when you click in it, move to the next photo. My slider its working, but without hover or any state, everytime i put it, it stops working. If anyone could help, i woudl be grateful   {Renamed By MOD}

i know it's adobe policy and i cant change that, but i work for one of the top software company in usa but i'm in iran , my life's work depend's on this software but i always have to have vpn ON and everytime it goes off i have to reinstall adobe xd , and i almost have to do this everyday .. it's just so unfair that we have this amazing free app that we can not even use cus we are in another country Thank you for ur amazing policy and apps .

I have a complex layout which involves 12 states for each month of the year as a top sub-navigation and each state has individual layouts and components below it. I may possibly going into an area XD does not support but I am always looking for a challenge.  I am using one art board. The months are layed out row and in a horiizontal scroll group since they bleed off the visible artboard. Without going into too much detail I first need to know if scroll group can be independent scrolling yet its interactions happen on a on a fixed layout. I have not figured out how to make the scroll happen without also scrolling the layout below it. The interaction I am looking to do is a user that scrolls to the desired month and the calendar below updates. Any Ideas? Thanks.

How can I have the top nav in a horizontal scroll group and the bottom portion fixed? Current;y there are within the same component as I need the bottom portion to update when a nav item is selected.

Hello! I am creating a portfolio website for school and I am new to XD. I have created a multipage responsive website for computer, tablet and phone. I am having the most trouble trying to get this to export correctly. Its creating it where my pages are overlapping one another, like my contact page is overlapping my portfolio page. I just need help figuring out what I am doing wrong so I can upload the html information to a server. Thank you in advance.

I just installed the adobe xd and made it ready for designing. I am ionic developer. I got an idea to design the UI/UX in adobe xd and the convert or export, don't know how to work ahead to create that views in ionic. When designing my website, my files came to the edge of xd, there is no space left in my xd. But, I put a lot of pages to complete my website design. I also have prototypes in it and the prototypes are connected to each other. How can I do this now?

I can download and install every other app, except for Adobe XD. Everytime I try i get "XD Installation failed, error code:500. 

Hello Adobe,Please do something for XD text tool, it got stuck every now and then.. always I've to select another control back and forth to use the text tool. A massive delay is observed while typing text into it.Please fix this ASAP. because it is consuming our productive time.

Hi,   I'm creating a slider between to videos to dimenstrate what and animated version of the same video is compared to the raw footage. I set up my slider correctly but when I preview it, only one video plays at a time.  When I'm on the first video and slide to the next, its not until I click off the slider that the 2nd video starts to play. I would like for both videos to be playing at the same time so that I can seamlessly slide back and forth between the two.    Is this possible?   Thanks   {Renamed By MOD}

Hi, do we have any option in XD, where in the developer/ spec link we can view the flow as well means prototype links with the connected arrows. This option is there in the figma, do we have it in XD? 

what color profile does XD work with? because i work with standard sRGB (IEC61966-2.1) and i got an EIZO monitor, so i see exactly what i get. but pictures in sRGB in photoshop looks different than in XD. XD has much more red in it. this alos happens in the preview.

How can i set a new order of the artboards for reviewers? Every artboard ist linked properly in prototyping mode an the order of artboards in XD ist set right. Now the reviewer can click through the prototyped project, but if the reviewer just wants to skip through the screens with the arrows at the bottom the order is chronologically as the artboards where created. So there are different orders in my XD-doc and the browser-reviewer. How can i change this order?
