Adobe XD

I created a component, tab-menu, that had three states (default, history, and recieve). I placed the component on dozens of artboards and then realized that one of the icons was not centered. I nudged the icon in the default state. All instances of the component in the default state showed the change correctly. Instances in the other states showed the icon moved inexplicably to the bottom right corner.  When I right-clicked on these incorrect components, they did not have the option to reset to the master. If I altered them in some way, such as by deleting the icon, the option to reset to master would be available. Hi all, I am working on a project which needed to pass the web accessibility 2.0. As all of you may know, it has different requirements of color contrast ratio for large text and small text. And here's the definition: "Large text is defined as 14 point (typically 18.66px) and bold or larger, or 18 point (typically 24px) or larger." (from:https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/) So now I am struggling whether Abobe XD is using px or pt on font size? it seems to be px. but it mentions pt in the asset bar. Can anyone provide a concrete answer on that? Thank a lot.

Is it possible to hide and show an element on a page (inside an artboard) when it is clicked on, without having to make a new artboard which shows that element?

Basically I want to click on some text (or a button) and that action transitions other objects on the SAME artboard to their New State. The new state is a colour change for the objects that are grouped together (and were made a component of course to add the new state). In prototype mode ive added a hover state and then another interaction for the text to try to go to the new state destintation of the other group but their new state is not available in the drop down menu as a destination! Why? The task is a guitar fingerboard with notes labelled on top of it. I want to highlight some of those notes depending on the trigger destination. FOr instance to see certain notes change colour (new state) to highlight them such as A minor notes light up when you click on the text A minor etc. Right now i have to have multiple artboards each with a drawing of particular notes coloured in on the fingerboard then link to each illustration from the text or button trigger. I'd really apppreciate some

I'm using XD on Windows 10.  Version 17.0.12.11.  I can't seem to change text color prior to typing. I draw a rectangle filled with the color whiteI select the Text tool(Shouldn't the Text properties appear at this moment and stay active until a different tool is selected?)With the Text tool selected, I click inside the rectangle(Text and Appearance properties appear)(Fill color is currently white)I change the Fill color to blackI then must click away from the color-picker in order to close it an start typingAfter I click away, the Text and Appearance properties disappear and the text cursor is no longer within the rectangle. I must click on the white rectangle again to start typingAfter clicking within the rectangle again, the fill color is now changed back to whiteGo back to step #4 and repeat the cycle (over and over) again.I'm following a tutorial online and the instructor is using the Mac version.  The instructor doesn't have this problem.  Also, the Mac versio

Hi Everyone,    I did the UI design and prototype for my project on XD and it was saved in my files (I use Mac). I was working on illustrator for a report and when I tried swtiching apps to adobe XD, it asked me to sign in to my adobe ID, and so i did that. But after that, i cant find the file anywhere on my PC (when i search in finder) but the file name shows when i right click on the adobe XD icon (please see image) but the file isnt opening at all.    I even have the link to my prototype which i earlier shared, but the original file seems to be missing and not opening (it onlt shows when i right click on adobe xd icon) Can someone please help??! I'm new to XD. I'm trying to prototype and when I link one artboard to the other one and then hover on the arrow that it doesn't show any options to connect the two artboards, instead a little symbol, a sort of dottet comma, appears. When I watch online tutorials, they simply connect the two artboards and then pass the pointer over the arrow and an option window appears. Am I doing something wrong?I'am a  Mac user. Thank you.

1) Shift + Left click is delesecting the first item and then the 2nd item gets selected. 2) CTRL + Mouse Scroll Up/Down is not zooming in and out, rather it is scrolling Up/Down in the free area. 3) When I am trying to select a component much inside a layer using, CTRL + Left click. The item is not getting selected, rather the upper level grouped components are kind of vibrating/shaking. I have tried the following remedies:1) Updated the to the latest version.2) Restarted my machine couple of times.3) Reinstalled XD again.4) Even though there is some problem with my keyboard, and was going to buy a new one, before one of my colleagues confirmed that he is also facing similar issues today. Please take a look at it and let me know, as it is getting really difficult to work.

My class capstone project team has been working in a cloud document the past few days. I have an Adobe XD installed in Windows 10 Education. Working with our cloud doc has been slow and frustrating but I was still able to access it. All of a sudden today I am not able to open the document. It says "Sorry, we can't open the file". I tried upgrading my XD, reinstalling XD, reinstalling Creative Cloud, my .NET framework and used the Adobe Cleaner Tool. Nothing worked. Our project is due soon and it is too late for us to switch to another prototyping tool. Any helping in fixing the issue so that I can access the shared cloud file and complete project is appreciated.   Note: Others in my team with access to the document are still able to access it. I am only one working on a Windows 10 laptop, others have a Macbook.   {Renamed By MOD}

I'm trying to create a slide-in effect for my browsing feature, but for some reason everytime I try to move my image out of the visible artboard space it goes straight to the pasteboard instead of just off screen. I understand that you're supposed to add an auto-animate transition and this should solve it but I have done that and for some reason it is still happening. I am very new to this, so please forgive my lack of knowledge. I have a project where i am creating a virtual aid for project managers on my team.  On the first artboard, i have a list of topics.  Second (level) artboard links from each of those specific topics to details on that topic.  third artboard links out of the second, to other information, forms, definitions, etc.  I want the second artboard to hover over the main first artboard when it is activated.  I got that to work with an overlay transition.  When the third artboard comes up, i was think that would replace the second artboard in this overlay location.  that also worked fine.  Where i am having trouble is backing out of this.  I have two transitions at the top.  for one of them, i want to go back to just showing artboard 1 with no overlay, i got that.  But for the other one, i want to close the third artboard and return to the second artboard in it's overlay posi

 I have a cloud document that is an asset library and it just started showing Error 2143 when trying to open it. My other cloud docs open just fine but for some reason this one doesnt anymore. Ive tried logging out of creative cloud and logging back in, restarting the computer and nothing seems to be working. The document itself opens, then a second or two later it shows a dialog that says connecting which eventually fails and shows the following error.Im on a macbook running macOS 10.14.6. This document did have coediting enabled. 

Can anybody give me advice on how best to create a library of components which are catalogued in an order which will remain when I use these as linked assets in a different document. There appears no way to sort components;eg. Alphabetical Order: 1) Icon - File  2) Icon - Link  3) Icon - Search etc. I can do it manually within a sticker sheet but this is not recognised within a document for which I've linked the assets. Furthermore if I add new components to the sticker sheet and 'update link' in linked documents any newly created components just sit at top of the components library. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, thank you.   {Title renamed by MOD}

If an image with a blend-mode is a part of a group and the group has the opacity changed, the blend-mode no longer works. The first image shows the image without a blend-mode on a background with 100% opacity. The second shows that the image with the darken blend-mode and 40% transparency retains the blend mode. The third image shows the bug where the blend-mode is ignored on export when the image is inside a group with 40% transparency applied to the group. However, the bug doesn't show in XD, only on export (4th image)

Hey, I cannot launch Adobe XD, I already tried different ways to solve the problem, but none of it helped.   I always get the following error event.  The server Adobe.CC.XD_28.8.12.1_x64__adky2gkssdxte!App did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. I have shared a XD design with the developers using the share for development option. The developers were not able to get specs in some artboards. When I checked, I found that those objects were inside a mask group. Is there a way to get the specs for objects inside a mask group?   {Renamed By MOD}

Hi all,    I am trying to standardize my design across different teams. So I thought I would create multi-state components within XD and If I add this component to the Creative Cloud library then I can share this library with my offshore designer. So it would be a plug and play. But as soon as I try to add this multi-state component into the CC library it only adds one state inside. Is there any possibility of support to add a multi-state component from XD to CC library. It would save a lot of time.   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

When I zoom the pasteboard/view to anything more than or less than 100%, I'm seeing a thin white line between the bottom and top edges of two elements in the artboards. However, it doesn't show up in the exported png image of the artboard. And I made sure that there was no border active for the elements. How can I fix this? I attached a screenshot of what I'm referring to. Thanks.

I am having an issue where several componets I had made chagned to no longer being componets and instead changed to be grouped folders. In these componets had several states made and then I made instances of the states so that I could easily drag and drop it into an artboard. I notcied that this change had happened to my compoents a couple of seconds after they switched to being grouped folders so tried to undo actions to see if I acidently clicked ungroup or somthing but when I did this the elements went back to where I had them before (and I know they were componets) but they didn't change back. Please let me know if anyone else has been having this issue or know what I might have done to make this happen.   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hello house, why is Adobe XD not supported by Windows 32 bit, I have tried installing it but to no avail. And also, when designing on XD you can only, Adobe makes sure that you can only view what you are doing or designing on iPhone live. Why not Android and iPhone.
