What is currently the best way to dectect a jailbroken device (Android and iOS) with AIR?
Existing .air files will not install on macOS 10.15 Catalina. This post suggests the fix is to build with a 'captive runtime' as described here: https://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WSfffb011ac560372f709e16db131e43659b9-8000.html However when I follow the steps to build with a captive runtime on Mac, I get the following error:"unknown package target bundle; should be air or native" Any suggestions? It's critical that my AIR app can run on latest MacOS.
please give a help every connecting and ussing this app
So I've created an application utilizing more memory with the beta AIR 25 runtime for windows that is 64-bit.I can export the application with the runtime embedded and all works well.I'm attempting to run the 64-bit version with ADL so I can more easily debug.>adl -runtime "AIR25.0.0126/runtimes/air-captive/win" "<path>-app.xml"Fails with a notice that AIR could not be found, although it's in the folder.File named content is identical to the other runtime in the runtimes folder. This line runs properly:>adl -runtime "AIR25.0.0.126/runtimes/air/win" "<path>-app.xml"Am I missing something? Am I pathing this incorrectly?Do I need a specific AIR25.0.0.126 run time installed on my system? Is there an installer somewhere?ThanksKeith R Morrison
Hi,My problem is being unable to package android apk with AIR 25 SDK. I am using Windows 10, tried jre/jdk libraries of 1.8.111 and 1.8.121 but the case exists. To eliminate all external factors like ANE's and certificates, I created a brand new as3 mobile project in FlashDevelop (which is also uptodate with AIR 25 SDK). When I try to test the app on android, it directly says "dx tool failed:" The other versions of AIR SDK's did not have this problem. I will appreciate any help. Thanks.
Hi,does anybody else have a problem to package android apk-captive-runtime target with AIR25?On some Window's machines (both 32 and 64 bit) we have nothing telling dx tool failed error while evaluating building command from command line. On the same machine using older AIR it is working fine.The command and output looks like:c:\dev\S3-Build>java -jar ..\AIR-Win-SDK\lib\adt.jar -package -target apk-captive-runtime -storetype pkcs12 -keystore ./cert/S3.p12 Build\S3.apk android.xml Data/* -extdir ane/dx tool failed:Build failed!Is there some special requirement for AIR25?Thanks,David
dx tool failed:APK setup creation FAILED.java version "1.8.0_171"Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_171-b11)Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.171-b11, mixed mode)
I have problem to package for android.I got some problem with publish with ane.(problem here AIR Admob ANE issue #3500: The extension context does not have a method with the name cacheInterstitial )Today I was update AIR SDK to latest version but I got this error dx tool failed.I follow this topic before I open this discussion.dx tool failed: Could not create the Java virtual machineso Iremoved java and download to new version from here https://www.java64.net/but I get still same issue.Someone said reason is Kaspersky and I removed too.But nothing change.Thanks ahead of time for any help.
When I try to publish an ADK using the ADT command with air 26 I get this error:dx tool failed: Could not create the Java virtual machineSome users had the same issue publishing in animate here: Re: dx tool failed: Could not create the Java virtual machineRe: dx tool failed: Could not create the Java virtual machine However the suggested solution of using an old version of java didn't work for me. I tried installing jre8u74. Got the same error. The odd thing is I can publish using animate using air 26 with no error. However, when using the command line to publish android I get this error. This doesn't make sense. Has anyone encountered this with air 26 or has something become corrupt in my installs?Thanks!
I have an HTC Desire running Froyo 2.2 OS (OS supplied by O2 mobile company i.e. O2 branded phone)Each time I try to install Air 2.5.1.1774 it downloads then tries to install; I get the message:-Installation of Adobe Air unsuccessful.Any advice please?
HiHarmann has now released several new version of the AIR SDK. Major change is the android 64 bit support.In the meantime Google gave a grace perido of one year for the AIR based app. So no hurries.However I was wondering what would be the benefits to switch to android 64 bit build (while I think I should still build a 32 bit as well).For those who already switched to 64 build, could you tell me if you see some benefits switching to it on 64 bit devices:- Is it more stable?- Do you see a perf difference?Thank you for your feedback
I have previously submitted many apps with underscores in the app id. Even today I made such an app. But sometimes I repeatedly get an error 105, application.id contains invalid character.I found two contradictory articles, one that lists hyphens as a valid character, which it seems to be, and another which says that hyphens are converted to underscores.Given that I have apps in the stores that do have underscores in the app id, how can I convince AIR 18 to allow that character?BTW, the issue seems to be true in AIR 17 too.
My system had Windows 10 and then Widows 7 32-bit earlier... Adobe AIR was working very well on these both OS.... I had to format my system and install Windows 7, 64-bit now.... But now, when I tried to download the Adobe AIR latest version [32.0] from the website https://get.adobe.com/air/ and when I clicked on the downloaded installer .exe file, AIR does not gets installed and I get the error message that says ' this application requires a version of Adobe AIR which cannot be found. Please download the latest version from the website'. ................... I am surprised by this error message. [ I have attached the snapshot] I need AIR because it is required by other software / program for its installation. Please help....
Good days at all!!Today i make a little transform on code js but i have a problem with function timeout.this code is good , also this problem is timeout stop about two picture WHY ?<script> var slideShowSpeed = 3500; var crossFadeDuration = 3; // Specify the image files var files = air.File.documentsDirectory.resolvePath('img').getDirectoryListing(); var Pic = new Array(); for (i = 0; i < files.length; i++) { Pic[i] = "\'img/" + files[i].name + "\'"; air.trace(i + Pic[i] + "<br/>"); } var t; var j = 0; var p = Pic.length; var preLoad = new Array(); for (i = 0; i < p; i++) { preLoad[i] = new Image(); preLoad[i].src=Pic[i]; } function runSlideShow() { if (document.all) { document.images.SlideShow.style.filter="blendTrans(duration=2)"; document.images.SlideShow.style.filter="revealTrans(Duration=2,Transition=12)"; document.images.SlideShow.style.filter= "blendTrans(duration=crossFadeDuration)"; document.images.SlideShow.filters.blend
A 64-bit version of adl.exe was not included in the AIR 29 SDK. It's impossible to debug 64-bit apps without it. A version was included with the v28 beta SDK, but it did not make it into the release version.This is required urgently. Our application is hitting the 32-bit memory usage limit and we need to use the 64-bit version.
Hi all,Thanks Adobe for pushing ahead with updates on Air, some of us are die-hard fans still! As mentioned elsewhere, an updated roadmap for 2018 or at least some intel as to the internal strategy surrounding Air would be lovely.Regarding the Flash Builder crashing, I've just downloaded the latest Air release as made available earlier today and I'm still experiencing the crashing.Any others with the same experience? Is there something I need to do to prevent this crash?To be honest, pleasantly surprised that the fix is with the Air SDK and not Flash Builder itself!Thanks,Dave.
Dear Adobe,The badge installation stopped working recently, probably after last Google Chrome update. Problem look like this: after clicking "install now" badge the confirmation window to install Adobe AIR appears ("Would you like to install adobe AIR?"). I click yes, download progress bar goes from 0 to 100%, and then error message appears ("Download error. Try again?"). Click yes - everything repeats.Also, in Chrome on Windows there is text under the badge: "In order to run <app name>, this installer will also set up Adobe AIR" - but latest AIR is already installed. We used standard installation badge, provided with the SDK.OS Windows 7 ver 6.1 (build 7600)Browser Google Chrome 21.0.1180.60 mFlash Player 11.3.31.222 AIR 3.3.0.3670The problem appears only in Google Chrome, and only on Windows. In IE and FF everything seems to work fine. In Chrome 21.0.1180.57 on Mac OS X 10.7.2 it works fine as well.You can look at the error here: http://www.jivosite.ru/install_application
I always find updating the SDK a nightmare, but I have tried both 32.0.0.89 and 32.0.0.116 and followed both these links: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-builder/kb/overlay-air-sdk-flash-builder.htmlhttps://helpx.adobe.com/uk/x-productkb/multi/how-overlay-air-sdk-flex-sdk.html. With 89 or 116 when I try to run any of my apps on Flash Builder 4.7 onto an ios Device I get:Error occured while installing the applicationError connecting to your device I have updated all my ANE's, but I have made a new blank app with no ANE's and get the same issue I have also set the compiler argument -swf-version = 43 and in the XML document I've set this xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/32.0" The iPhone is running 13.1.3 and it's an iPhone 6s. Unfortunately I don't have another iPhone to test on. One of my apps I tested just before updating and everything was working as expected Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
HARMAN pricing has been announced and is not cheap. I said in a few posts it will likely be low and I was simply wrong. My company already said NO (I asked) and we are now leaving AIR for good.I sure do understand the need for HARMAN to profit but it seems to me that pricing is too high. As a result maybe some people are going to pay while actively seeking alternative solution and quickly leaving the tech afterward.What do you guys think of that pricing? Good for the future of AIR or not good?
