Hello ACE Community!! ❤️

November always feels like that perfect in-between moment: routines are flowing, creative projects are taking shape, and there’s still a little breathing room before the winter rush. This space is our monthly gathering spot to connect, swap ideas, and celebrate what’s happening in your classrooms, libraries, and maker spaces.

How to Join In

  • Drop a link to your social post, video, or blog from November.

  • Add a quick reflection: What was your favorite moment or biggest takeaway?

  • Use the Reply button so everything stays in one thread (easier for us all to scroll and celebrate together!).

Not sure what to share? Try out this month's creative challenge: design a plush pal!

Use generative AI to design a playful plush pal for someone special: https://adobe.ly/plushpal

Idea Sparks:

  • Have students design plush pals that represent kindness, curiosity, or creativity.
  • Create a “Plush Pal Parade” wall where each character’s special power and catchphrase shine.
  • Or design one for your library or makerspace: what would your space’s sidekick look like?

Let’s keep building this quilt of creativity together — can’t wait to see your posts! 💌

With creative joy,
Your Adobe for Education Community Team

Hello! What a great way to describe November—that "perfect in-between moment" where creativity is flowing!

Here are my links to what we've been up to:

My biggest takeaway and favorite moment from the November activities was realizing that the learning doesn't always have to be tied strictly to academics. The "Design a Plush Pal" challenge, in particular, was so much fun for the students, and it was a great reminder that sometimes, pure creativity and joy is the best lesson!

My grade 6 students really enjoyed designing their Plush Pals by exploring their creativity using generative AI and other features of Adobe Express. All students and including the teacher participated in the activity. I hope you will enjoy their creations.

I absolutely LOVE the little things you discover during these challenges! From duplcating & cropping images to create a more layerd effect, to breaking down a template and exploring the designer's levels! I end up noticing new effects, clever tricks, and pieces of someone else’s design thinking. It always surprises me how many fresh ideas pop up along the way!

Shoutout to ACE Innovator Amy Leitner - remiding us to "Replace, not erase!" when using Adobe Express -- such a mic-drop reminder of the power of the QUICK REPLACE BUTTON! If you haven't tried it yet, consider this an encouragement to push that button! ♥️

I'm so excited to do this project with a teacher in my school. We're also trying this as a school challenge too! The classroom feature with a quick link was so simple to get the kids into my class! I'm excited to see so much creativity. Here is my plush pal. I always tend to default to cat themes. 🙂

My students and I had so much fun on this challenge!  I really like how you can use this to create a character from a novel.  Love my little plush pal, Moonbeam https://new.express.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:a6ebbaa9-da0d-5851-bf9e-0295858071f8?invite=true&accept=true&promoid=Z662FLTQ&mv=other?preload=sharesheet
