The new iPad app introduces brand-new features and capabilities; accordingly, it is more system-intensive than the former version and has higher system requirements. If you encounter any performance issues, please ensure your device meets the requirements by visiting the system requirements page.

There were some issues that we weren’t able to address by the time of the release, please see this article for our current known issues

I have an iPad 6 running iOS 17.7 so I assume it is obsolete for the new app. That's fine I am quite happy using the old one. However, every time I complete a project it takes it from my files page and added to the new app. I then cannot download it or edit it. When I try to open it the program takes me back to the old app and the file is not there!! What can I do? As you see from the page Transect1 and Transect2 are there but not in my old app page

I'd like to give some feedback about the new Adobe Express app on iPad. I have an iPad Pro. The first annoyance is that the app only works on landscape, not portrait. This is a problem because when I edit text, the keyboard takes up half the screen and it is hard to see what's going on with the text. That's why the portrait orientation would be so nice, because the keyboard wouldn't take up as much of the screen area. Secondly, when scrolling through fonts, the keyboard automatically pops up, which isn't necessary for just scrolling through fonts. Thirdly, the area to scroll through the fonts is so tiny, and there's no way to make it bigger. That makes it more difficult to search through the options. Lastly, when I try to use the eyedropper to choose a color for the fill, outline, or shadow, it doesn't work. It chooses black only. This must be a bug. Just a few issues I noticed.

I sure wish I had known my iPad 12 Pro 6th generation runnig iPad OS 18.2 was going to be considered obsolete in the new Adobe Express!  Maybe that's why I dislike the update so much after absolutely loving the previous versions of Spark/Express for about 10 years.  Sadly, I 'm looking at Canva and other apps, but I hate to abandon thousands of excellent projects created with a once wonderful app!  Once again the cliche is true - "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"  I'm not a  super power user but I'm no hack either, but I really wish I could go back to the user friendly, intuitive and extremely productive version .  It was easily worth the Premium price, but I regret paying it for this year.  The apparent option of upgrading to a new iPad Pro and new iMac (27" screen) just in order to maybe like the new Adobe Express is just not feasible.  So disappointed, Adobe!  I wonder how many users out there feel the same?

The new app is creepy and confusing. The cluttered screen is not useful with the iPad Mini. And I don't want AI either. I agree that Adobe Express was great, but now it's a disaster. I bought a special product and now I get something that I don't want. I will consider switching completely to Affinity and Canva.
