Trouble loading Express app, downloading & accessing files and features | October 20-21, 2025

Hi Everyone!!

Several users experienced issues with Adobe Express and related Adobe services on October 20, 2025. This included difficulties loading the app, accessing or downloading files, encountering 404/504 errors, crashes, and Quick Action failures. Workflows connected to Adobe Stock and Adobe Fonts were also affected.

 

This issue was the result of an ongoing incident with our underlying cloud infrastructure provider. Our teams also actively worked to mitigate the impact and restore normal functionality as soon as possible.

 

We apologize for the frustration and appreciate your patience.

    Bonjour,

    Cela fait maintenant plusieurs heures que j'essaye de télécharger une vidéo sous-titrée par adobe express grâce au sous-titrage automatique mais rien n'y fait. 

     

    J'ai vraiment besoin d'aide, ça devient urgent.

    Due to the massive AWS outage that occurred on October 20th, 2025, a subset of Adobe products and services hosted experienced performance issues. This might be due to the same outage.

    Can you recheck and confirm if the issue is resolved for you?

    I have been unable to download my projects. Happened just yesterday. I have logged out and back in, cleared cache but nothing working.

    Hi,
    can't download video project in Adobe express.  Error message: 

    "Herunterladen fehlgeschlagen, 

    Beim Herunterladen der Datei ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es erneut.
"


    Tested it on different devices, deleted cache etc.

    Any idea what to do?

    I'm having this same issue! I've tried signing in and it, different browsers and devices, incognito mode, everything and all he download always fails or there is another error about having to refresh. I've tried everything and I'm on a time crunch and need this video. It's a reoccurring template I use. The preview of the file too also looks corrupted. I could download a picture on another project just fine, but no video.

    Hi @Mystic Mel, Due to the massive AWS outage that occurred on Oct 20th, 2025, a subset of Adobe products and services hosted experienced performance issues. This might be due to the same outage. Can you restart the device and see if that makes any difference? I suggest trying to log in to the Adobe Express app using a desktop browser after clearing its cache/cookies.

    I can't download my projects. I use Adobe Express for my marketing work and this is affecting my entire process. Is Adobe Express failing?

    I am having this same issue - getting to 90% and then getting an error.

    Video background remover not working on mobile app, Windows app, or in browser. This is literally the main reason why I use express and it is blocking me from creating social media content. I'm guessing its down due to the AWS issues today, does anyone have any details for when it'll be back online? Or any work around?

    EDIT: Seems to have resolved now. Must have been leftover issues from the AWS outage maybe?

     

    I know a couple of others have raised the download issue but I'm also getting red exclamation marks next to a stock element I placed from the library. For the download, it prepares the file and seems to download to 100% but then says download failed. I'm using Express for work - all these issues aren't great and are directly affecting my productivity.

    Yes, you're right, due to the massive AWS outage that occurred on Oct 20th, 2025, a subset of Adobe products and services hosted experienced performance issues.

     

    I suggest trying to log in to the Adobe Express app using a desktop browser after clearing its cache/cookies. You may also want to try using different image/stock element to see if that makes a difference.

    I am experiencing issues downloading my project from Adobe Express both on the website and the app. I get a message saying "Download Failed. We're experiencing a temporary Adobe Stock service outage. Please try again later or contact Adobe Support for help." 
    How do I solve this? Is it a major issue? What is going on?

    Same here. Downloads fail. Trying to get some work done and this is causing me so many issues.

    First off my adobe express app is very slow today, secondly adobe express will not let me download any new projects. I noticed on Friday that my app did an update, since then the app has been geeking out.

     Thanks for posting here. Can you please confirm if you're still facing the issue? An AWS outage occurred on October 20, 2025, affecting many Adobe products and services.

    So frustrated.  I cannot download anything on my laptop or on my phone, and this is the error message.  I cannot find any person to talk to, so here I am on this forum.  Isn't there a chat function?  Nope.
