- Introducing Smoother Gradients with Dither
No more banding in your blends! The new Dither option helps you create smoother, more natural-looking gradients—perfect for polished designs across screen and print, especially for gradients with colour stops having very little colour difference between themHow it worksYou’ll find Dither in both the Gradients panel & the Control bar. If you want to retain vector editing capabilities when exporting as PDF, make sure to select “Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities.”Experiment with Dither in your gradients and let us know what you think - your feedback helps us make the workflow "smoother".
- Perceptual Gradients for Natural Color Transitions
Bring your gradients to life with more natural, visually pleasing color transitions. With the new Perceptual method, colors blend the way your eyes expect—making gradients feel smoother and more true to life across Linear, Radial, and Freeform types.How it worksYou’ll find the Perceptual option in both the Gradients panel and the Control bar, and it’s on by default for all gradients. If you prefer the traditional look, simply switch to “Classic” from the drop-down menu.Try creating gradients with the Perceptual method and see the difference in your designs. We’d love to hear your feedback on how it elevates your creative work.
- Easier Artboard Management from canvas
You can now see Artboard names on the canvas, making it easier to identify and rename.
- Quickly identify specfic Artboards without opening the panel.
- Rename with ease by double-click the Artboard name and update it instantly.
This upgrade means a smoother, faster workflow every time you manage Artboards. If you prefer a cleaner view, you can turn off artboard labels anytime in Preferences -> Selection and Anchor Display → Artboard Display

You can now access GPT-4o and Ideogram right alongside Firefly - no need to juggle between platforms. Just head to Context HUD, the Properties Panel, or the T2V modal and pick the model you want to try. Each partner brings unique strengths, so you get more styles, more variety, and more ways to spark your creativity.
