Hi everyone. The new Adobe Community experience is officially live! You’re now looking at a reimagined space designed to make it easier to connect, share feedback, and see how your ideas help shape Adobe products.

What’s new

A clearer way to share ideas and feedback

Feature requests and bug reports now have dedicated spaces, clearer status indicators, and voting—so it’s easier to see what’s gaining traction and what’s already in progress.

Better visibility into what’s happening

You can now track the status of feature requests and bugs as they move from idea → in development → released. When something you’ve voted on changes status, you’ll be notified.

Cleaner navigation, less noise

Discussions, announcements, and product feedback each have their own place—making it easier to find answers, discover what’s new, and focus on what matters most to you.

Richer posts and conversations

Create posts with images, videos, code blocks, and file attachments to share context, examples, and workflows more easily.

Stronger connections with Adobe teams and peers

Your community activity now connects to your Adobe ID, helping us better understand feedback and engage more meaningfully with the people using our products every day.

Your content is still here

All posts, replies, solutions, feature requests, and bug reports created on or before November 16 are already available. Content created between November 17 and launch day will be added soon—no data will be lost, and you won’t need to recreate anything.

Jump in

Explore your product communities, upvote ideas you care about, ask questions, and share what you’d like to see next. This community works best when your voice is part of the conversation.

Thank you for helping make Adobe Community what it is. We’re excited to keep building it with you.

I just recently made a post about a critical bug between AE and ME that’s been plaguing me for over half a year, and some new important findings that will help the team narrow it down, how soon will the posts made after Nov 16 be available?

@LeoUpdaterX: Where are my private messages?

Adobe discarded them in the migration process. See this reply from an Adobe employee:

That is unfortunate. If there is anything that could be done to access them, please let us know.

Absolutely frustrating timing. Have already been waiting months for a fix to a bug and now the conversation is partially destroyed until the rest of the content migrates. And to top it off, this update is decidedly NOT an upgrade. Seeing and reading posts and replies now requires even more digging. Way to put form over function...

Sorry for being a little dense: Where should I go to learn and improve in the (fairly) age-old give and take on a topic, problem, innovation, bug, and so on? You know, I ask a question, and really competent fellow users answer it for me, sometimes ingeniously and very knowledgably.

Where is that board? I can’t find the “old” one so hope to be told how I get to a new one that does what the old one has done for decades… imperfect as it’s been.

Looking at your past posts, it would appear you spend most of your time in the Illustrator forum - so you’d be looking at https://community.adobe.com/p/illustrator

I have no knowledge about Illustrator, and I never visited Illustrator forums.

My area of expertise is Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Updater and general deployment. My private messages included mostly exchange with folks who needed extended help with regard to Updater.

Once again, we’re subject to threaded display rather than just a  linear, temporal sequence of replies, just like when the forums were first deployed on the old Khoros platform.  When monitoring a longer thread with multiple participants over several days or weeks, the threaded display makes it very hard to find recent replies, which are nested deep.

It seems UI designers love threaded display, but most effective forum communities eventually gravitate to linear.

Please bring back linear time-ordered display as an option.  (I recall it took many, many months for Khoros to do that.)

    100% agree.  non-threaded is needed.

Oh, I get no notifications of new posts in the subscriptions I follow,, etc as well. All turned on. I guess this is due to the old bug that was never resolved about my email not being connected to some functionalities. I was getting notifications till yesterday!!

Looks like some corrections are underway. One I just noticed is my rank. For some unknown and undocumented reason, I was a Brainiac all of a sudden (not sure if I should be insulted), Now back to Legend (in my own mind)

Adobe, you need to document the new directions for using the community. Something you should have posted before going all-in on new coke.

Yeah, somebody got a bit miffed over the “brainiac” term, so they flipped it back to either “Community Export” or “Legend”.

If there was a Dislike button, I would hit it a dozen times. The whole upgrade is a major downgrade. As many people have pointed out, useful features are now gone and so searching the forums for unread replies or previous discussions on a topic is much more difficult. It seems as if zero user-input was used to create this much-less useful forum. Which is also how it seemed the last time the Adobe forum software was upgraded. Apparently Adobe has not learned from the last time. Last time the forum UI was upgraded, I stayed away for about a year until it was fixed/improved, and I think I may have to do that again. It would also be very helpful if Adobe would comment on the complaints already provided in this thread, quickly and clearly and without getting defensive, but with something like “we’ll do our best to fix this”.

Actually I think this time is worse than when we went from a forum to a community.

    Don't understand the jargon:

    'Cleaner navigation, less noise.'

What is noise in this context.

    'Richer posts and conversations.'

Ugh! That's a bit rich. Please come down to earth and use every day language.

If this web site is just a group love-in I dont want to know. Just might need technical help from time to time, always expressed in simple terms please.
