Am I going to lose all my work with the discontinuation of synced files?

Hello, I have almost all of my video projects saved in Premiere Rush via the Creative Cloud Synced files. I can see now with the discontinuation they're all going to be deleted. I have copies of the final versions but am now not going to be able to access all the working versions. Can't seem to find a way to download the projects to my phone or mac now that I've removed them from the original device. Can someone help? Hard to find a straight answer but my understanding is that the files will go and all projects will end up with broken links to files from Feb 2024.

Finally, I went to my working computer expecting everything to work as it had been this is the very reason I don't trust Cloud services it is just not logical I have a cell phone I've been designing on for a few years now lost 8000 assets because of a OS update and even though I tried saving it twice that's a whole other useless conversation. Now I thought at least I have the two reals I've been working on for practically three years. i go to my phone nothing not even a thumb nail, impossible I thought I just go to the source nothing their has to be an asset folder of some kind? nothing I go to my main desk top and Find Thumb nails lol but no working files.........

I am a long-term user of Adobe products, and today 12/21/24 is the first I have heard of this synching issue. I just found out I may have lost all my files on my Adobe Rush App on my iPhone, which is horrific. I had 3 huge video editing projects from just this past month in there and can not access any of them right now, and years of video and music editing appear to be missing. Since I only heard of this horrific service issue from Adobe today, I feel it is worth asking other users on here who may have lost work if they would like to be part of a class action lawsuit with me? I have lost so much data from this that it is worth trying to get some money back from Adobe for years of lost work. I'm sure there are others who feel the same way, so if you are interested, let's persue this to make sure Adobe never does this to users again. Thank you.

Good for you for advocating like this. It's the only way to get "heard" and to get issues like this resolved.

I would likely be happy to be a class rep with you - I once served as a class rep for something like this and we won. Big. $88MM. The whole thing could have been avoided if the company had just done the right thing.

I just can't be the lead person trying to organize this. If you do some outreach and find a firm that wants to take this on I will join you as a class rep and help find more class reps (usually requires a handful of ppl to represent the class).

Thanks again. Really sorry to hear all your work was lost.

What is going on. I use this for work purposes , I pay a subscription yearly. And all of a sudden. My files will not go into premire rush. Or export. I have tried reinstalling and so on. Adobe please resolve this as I am paying for a service. I have a programme to create by the end of the week. This is unacceptable.

Jumping in late just to say that discontinuing sync is a big bummer. The video I'm working on is swallowing 3.28 GB of storage on my iPad. This app is really meant for mobile use and I was relying on the cloud sync that I pay for to ease the burden of storage on my devices. And my subscription price went up too. 👎

im so confused. They discontinued sync yet the tutorial video still say that synch is up and running? https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/learn/app/premiere-rush

The first and second tutorial tout the cloud aspect and moving from one device to another. What is happening here, did they seriously not update their tutorials???

What is the point of paying $12.99 for a plan then now? What is the difference between the free version and the paid one?

How should we share files from iPad to iPhone, for example? If the sync is not available?

I feel I was a little slow on the uptake here--I believed the only part being discontinued was the documents/file section. Perhaps due to the vague phrasing in the notices. I do a lot of work on and for the skilltoy community and it's social media, and am frequently on the go. Therefore, I do the bulk of my editing on Rush through my iPad since it syncs seamless with my iPhone--my primary camera. If it's the Adobe Cloud in it's *entirety* that's being discontinued, there's quite literally no reason for me to keep paying Adobe three times the amount other services charge, because the ability to do a solid rough cut on my iPad, then polish in Pro via Adobe Cloud's Sync was the sole reason we went with them. If that's stopping, so is my payment. No, the other services don't offer everything Rush and Pro do, but I'll make it work. It's more important that I can work between devices seamlessly, and I would really hate to end up in some of your shoes down the road, with years of work and money invested into a company that really could care less. I mean, the fact that there is no alternative being presented, even if only to keep Rush relevant, kinda says it all. What a shame. I'm sure there's at least a handful of other businesses who can't wait to meet us.

Quite literally this change is the FINAL STRAW I was clinging to the one last thing Adobe Rush had was cloud syncing and it was even buggy when I was desperate for at least one aspect of this app to work!

I've dealt with so much glitching and app crashing and losing precious hours of my life from projects just no longer being accessible over the last 4 years of PAYING for this experience... it's NOT WORTH IT.

I will be ending my Adobe subscription because even now as cloud syncing is "still available" 90% of my edits are GONE from not syncing properly - so fine! Thanks Adobe for making the experience so retched that I finally have to give up lol who's going to pay the same price, if not more, for a buggy app with LESS features now? I'm excited to use free apps in the near future that AT LEAST actually work

I agree 100%      I will be done very soon if I cant get a straight answer and not a link they keep repeating. The help center and virtual asssisstant disconnected chat with me twice. I think I will start looking into other programs that I can just buy!

One step further into Adobe's planned locking ecosystem; this is a terrible idea! Remove a feature and put in no replacement; Adobe bad!  I can't imagine how many businesses this will affect; what do we pay for now? Warning: this is your last time to get out of the Adobe ecosystem if you want to keep your client's files readable in years to come. They did it with fonts, and now it will be all in libraries; THIS is not good enough for Adobe.

It really is remarkable that they would take this away with no replacement apparent.  I am lucky in that I am a hobbyist and don't rely on this for an income, but I had really come to rely on the workflow with Rush where I could edit on the iPhone/iPad, then continue on the computer and do final edits in Premiere Pro/After Effects.  I can't see a good use for Rush standalone aside from simple social media clips, and even then, without a way to archive, I probably won't even do that.
