Adobe apps request QR code for sign-in

Hello Community,

We have an important update regarding the sign-in process for Adobe apps. As part of Adobe's ongoing efforts to enhance security and following Microsoft's deprecation of Internet Explorer 11, Adobe is phasing out support for IE 11 in all its applications.

What does this mean for you?

If you're using an outdated version of Windows or an older version of Adobe desktop apps, you might notice a QR code on the sign-in screen instead of the usual Adobe sign-in interface. This change is designed to ensure a smooth transition away from Internet Explorer 11 with minimal disruption to your workflow.

Although QR code authentication is a temporary fix, we highly recommend updating your operating system and Adobe apps to the latest versions to ensure you receive the latest security patches and enhancements.

To find out which Adobe applications display the QR code during authentication and how you can sign in, click below.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Adobe apps request a QR code for sign-in on older versions of Windows or Adobe apps that may not support newer authentication methods. To sign in, use your phone or tablet to scan the QR code, or copy the provided link and paste it into an updated web browser. To avoid this, it's best to update your operating system and Adobe applications to their latest versions. more information

Thanks for the update! It’s good to know that Adobe is moving away from Internet Explorer 11 to improve security. The QR code sign-in is a helpful temporary solution, but it’s definitely a good idea to update both the operating system and Adobe apps to avoid any future issues. Looking forward to more details on the transition process.
