Effective November 2026. We’re reaching out to let you know about an important change coming to 64-bit versions of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader on Windows. Starting with the November 2026 release, new installations will require the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime to run.  What You Need to Know In most cases, nothing. Hey everyone, Joe here. We've all been there: you have a final PDF but need a major edit, and the original Word or PowerPoint file is nowhere to be found. I want to show you how Acrobat converts PDFs to and from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and images, while keeping your layout, fonts, and images intact. What you need: Any Acrobat plan. Converting documents to and from PDF is included starting with Acrobat Standard, confirmed on Adobe's own plan comparison page. What you can do: Turn a PDF into an editable Word document in a couple of clicks, or go the other way, like turning a JPEG into a shareable, high-quality PDF.
