Two improvements to the community platform 👋

A quick note for our community members about two improvements that went live earlier today:

1. Search now stays within your community. Searching inside a community will, by default, return results only from that community, so you'll find what you're looking for without results from other communities mixed in. We're working with our platform partner on further refinements, but this improvement is now live and benefits everyone.

2. Community context in email notifications. If you've subscribed to a specific section, email notifications will now show the community where each post was created. This is especially handy for our experts and super-users (thank you!). Our partner is also working to bring this to push notifications and other email notifications.

Thanks for being here. We think these improvements are helpful, and more are on the way.

Have a great weekend!

Is there a timeline for when Moderators will be able to move a wrong placed message to the correct forum?

@mrspieri, you’re probably aware, but to let others know: Creating new posts on the Adobe forums has stopped working for the last 36 hours or so. After you enter a description and click None Of These Match Your Question, you get a blank page.  Replies to existing posts still works.

This started happening suspiciously soon after your announcement on 6/25/2026, 6:54:14 PM PDT.

Here are the dates and times (PDT) of the most recent posts on the most popular forums:

    Thanks @mrspieri, that’s good news.

    Two questions:

If you've subscribed to a specific section, email notifications will now show the community where each post was created

    1. As far as I understand, this only applies to notifications about new threads. Is that correct? I don’t see this being applied to new messages in existing threads.
    2. Is adding the community name to the email subject still planned? Right now the community name only appears in the body.
