Adding text makes it glitchy

Hi there, I've split my short video a number of times as I want to add the names of each of the people that appear but it makes it jump and doesn't come out well at all. Is there another way of doing this? Premiere Rush works better but the text options are limited. Thanks in advance for your expert advice!

Hmm, just a suggestion, if it's not going to be too much work for you, you can create the text animation in Adobe Express, export it with a green background and add it to your video as a green screen animation (ah as I see it, it's not possible in Rush, so you can do it in Pr for sure) That's the only way I can think of right now, as a workaround.
