Adobe Cloud Library is no longer linked to Brand Kits in Adobe Express

While working inside my Adobe Express account, I was attempting to update the page color swatch with a Brand Kit I use regularly. It did not appear when inside the switch. None of my Brand Kits appeared in the swatch.

I check the Brand Kits tab in the project, received a notice “Easily Create on Brand” notice.

I check my work account Adobe Express Brand Kits to ensure they’re not gone, thankfully still in tact.

I go back to my account and check my Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries, the Brand Kits are present.

Back to my Adobe Express account, inside the project, and no brand kits.

I explore my Adobe Express Brand Kits home page tab, nothing was there.

Tapped on “Browse Shred Brands”, my Libraries pop up, I select my Brand Kit and click ‘ADD’

“Failed to Add library at this time”

I cannot copy anything over, seemingly everything is stuck and not connecting. Feels isolated.

I’m still having this same issue on Adobe Express. I cannot create any Brands or Libraries within Adobe Express. I create a brand or a library, it lets me name it - however, it does not show up in Adobe Express. Neither are any libraries created in my Creative Cloud Library.

I’m baffled.

I’ve tried numerous browsers (incognito) as well as the Adobe Express app - I’ve disabled my firewall - nothing has helped at all.

This should not be this difficult to use. Any ideas?

Hi @emw,

Thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry to hear about this. Could you please answer questions below?

  1. What type of Adobe account are you using (Personal, Teams, Enterprise, or Education)?

  2. Are you signed into the same Adobe account in both Adobe Express and Creative Cloud?

  3. When you create a Brand or Library, do you receive any error message?

  4. Does the Brand/Library disappear immediately after creation, or does it never appear at all?

  5. Can you see any existing Libraries, or is the Libraries section completely empty?

  6. Could you share a screen recording showing the creation process and what happens afterward?

Regards,

Tarun

Hi Tarun,

Thanks for your reply. As of yesterday, my issues were resolved. It seemed there was a latency issue which was causing my Brands and Library Files not to update. I would check 2-3 hours later, and the Brands/Files would finally be there. As of yesterday, I’m no longer experiencing the issue, so I’m assuming Adobe identified the issue - since I’m doing nothing different today than I did last week.

Thanks!

I think I found a solution! 🎉 @Rose DV @ckelley777 @defaultwz2p6vhoad2s

In the Creative Cloud App, I went to Files → Your Libraries. All of my saved brands were here. I hovered over one, clicked the three dots, and selected Move. Then I moved it to an existing “Project” I use in Adobe Express. This allowed the brand to show up in “My Brands” in Adobe Express, as well as my Projects.

I am now able to access all the brand assets in an Adobe Express file.

I’m thinking this is perhaps related to the shift to Projects, as outlined in this help article: https://helpx.adobe.com/express/web/brands-libraries-projects/create-projects-libraries/organize-templates-in-projects.html

Hi @ckelley777,

Welcome to the Adobe Express community! We’re sorry to hear about this. Could you please share your Adobe ID with me via private message? Make sure you’re logged into your correct profile in Adobe Express. For more information, you can check this article- https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/manage-adobe-profiles.html

Did you try using another browser to check if that makes any difference? Try signing out and signing back in again to check if that helps. Try to create a brand‑new project and check if Brand Kits appear there.

If the above steps don't help, please make sure that the network endpoints listed on https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html  are allowed.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi Tarun,

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my report. Confirming:

  • I am logged into the correct profile on Adobe Express and Creative Cloud.
  • I use Chrome, attempted on Safari per your suggestion: same result - nothing.
  • I’ve signed out, into my work profile, confirmed library and brand kits are connected and OK. Signed out of work, and back into my personal, no luck.
  • ! - Created a new brand project in Adobe Express, named it, added text, backed out to Brand Kit page, the new brand kit is not visible on Adobe Express. *IMPORTANT: Flagging that this new Brand Kit is visible in my Creative Cloud library.
  • No change in network endpoints in computer settings. Especially knowing I can access my work account across the Cloud and Express interfaces.

Any thoughts on the !Important note before diving off thread?
