Adobe Express Animated Characters Internal Server Error - NOVEMBER 2025

Hello, I am encountering an error with Adobe Express Animated Characters on the website, mobile app, and desktop app. Whenever I upload an .MP3 file, I receive the following error:

I then decided to convert the file to .WAV. It successfully animated a file of 1 minute and 30 seconds only once, but since then it has not worked for at least 36 hours. I require a prompt solution, as my entire project relies on this, and experiencing intermittent errors is unacceptable.

I have also tested recording my voice using the provided website function; however, it only animates recordings that are less than 20 seconds long. I still receive the error displayed in the image above whenever I upload .MP3 files. Additionally, the .WAV method that worked once now results in the following error. I have tried all devices, browsers, and cleared cache and cookies, but to no avail. Please advise, as I am now only receiving an internal server error. Furthermore, considering I have a premium membership, I do not expect this issue, especially as it appears to be a frequent and recurring problem.

Hey @j_4374!
Thank you for sharing the detailed breakdown; we understand how frustrating this must be.

Our team is aware of the internal server error affecting uploads (particularly with .mp3 and longer .wav files) and is currently investigating.

In the meantime, you can try shorter audio clips under 20 seconds or record directly within Express as a temporary workaround.

We’ll post an update here once the issue is resolved.

Appreciate your patience and for flagging this with such detail!
