Adobe Express - animation MP4 versus static PNG

I copied and pasted an animated page to another document to turn it into a 'static' PNG'. Despite removing ALL animations the page remains as an animation. One can save it out as a PNG but it's default state is an animation. This isn't right.

Hi

@stevet23

,

I’d be happy to help! To better understand the issue you’re facing with converting an animated page to a static PNG in Adobe Express, could you provide a bit more detail?

  1. When do you say the page remains as an animation, what specific behaviours or elements are you noticing that indicate it’s still animated?
  2. Have you tried exporting the page as a PNG from a different device or browser? Did you encounter the same issue?
  3. Are there any specific settings or features you used when creating the original animated page that might be affecting the conversion?

Try exporting the page as a flat image file—like a JPEG or PDF first—before saving it as a PNG. This could strip out any residual animation data.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun
