Adobe Express audio cuts off at end

Hello!

My students created video files of their presentations (we used "video" on Express -- not "presentation" option).

The imported screen shots of their slides (from Google Slides) and recorded their narration for each slide.

After publishing their videos, in every one of them, the video ends and cuts off the narration of probably about 10-15 seconds of the slide.

Here is an example:  https://express.adobe.com/video/RPI7v8DPNu39p

Does anyone know why?  Could it be because I had them delete the "Credits" and "Outro" slides?  Or is it a file size issue?

I searched online and could not find an answer for Adobe Express specifically.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Regards,

Karen C.

It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one having this trouble.  I agreed to pay 10 dollars at the end of my free trial.  I will probably cancel before it ends.  I don’t know why this is happening, but Microsoft ClipChimp generates the same issue, and wondershare filmora doesn’t.  Perhaps the geniuses who do the coding can use samples of the code for those programs to figure out where they went wrong in writing this bit of chaos.

Could it be because of the version of downloading used by each program?  My video is three minutes, and it takes Wondershare three minutes to export it to a file.  The only thing it has that I don’t like is a watermark.  On Adobe Express, it is a download of data, and it’s nearly instantaneous.  There’s so much room for something to go wrong! ClipChimp wants users to think it’s using realtime exportation, but it allows variations in its final tally of the file attributes, leading to audio files that end abruptly and narratives with a syllable cut off.

Hi @JonPalmer10888,

We’re sorry for the delay and for hearing about your experience. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, could you please share the file URL with edit rights via private message so I can investigate further?

Hi there.
I'm facing the same issue. The audio gets truncated by a few seconds prior to the end of the clip(in the downloaded file). During Editor runtime, it plays till the end. Any fixes yet?

Hi @devaratib30999051,

Welcome to our Adobe Express Community! This shouldn't be happening. Could you please share the project ID with us, granting us access to edit via a community DM, so we can investigate this further?

Hey Karen,

Thanks for bringing this to our notice; we are sorry for the trouble, as this shouldn't happen. We were able to replicate this issue on our end and will be sharing this with the engineering team. We'll keep you posted once we hear from the team.

Also, I'd like to inform you that deleting the 'Outro' and 'Credit' slide doesn't hamper the narration

Your patience is appreciated.

Regards,

Amitej
