Adobe express freezing on iOS - down for two weeks

Adobe express has been unusable on my mobile devices for a few weeks Which severely limits my ability to use the program. I've uninstalled reinstalled, updated, deleted files, etc. It works fine on my Mac.

I am having the complete opposite problem.

I am only able to work on my mobile device recently and every time I want to move my workflow to my Macbook, my work does not populate when I open up a file. I was able to easily move from iPhone to Macbook with all of my work updated quickly.

I have also tried logging out/logging back in and uninstalling/re-installing. This is ridiculous that I am paying for access to this service that is inaccessible.

Hi @yeahno -

Sorry to hear your work isn't appearing when you switch from iPhone to MacBook - that's frustrating, especially when it used to work seamlessly (and should!)

A couple of things to try:

  1. Give it a few minutes and do a hard refresh - syncing between devices can sometimes take a moment
  2. Try accessing your projects via Your Stuff from the homepage at https://new.express.adobe.com rather than opening a file directly

If it's still not showing, could you share:

  • What iPhone model and iOS version you're on?
  • What MacBook and macOS version you're using?
  • Are you using the desktop app or browser on your MacBook? If browser, which one?
  • A short screen recording of what happens when you try to open a project on your MacBook that you worked on on your phone - that would really help us understand where the sync is breaking down!

Hi all, I managed to (temporarily?) resolve this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the Adobe Photoshop Express iOS app from the App Store. Remains to be seen whether it will be necessary to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop Express iOS for every single time I want to use the app. Wish the app weren’t so bloated with slop-generating garbage, but until [redacted—draw your own conclusions], I guess that’s how things will have to run.

Hi @zaums ,

Can you please confirm if you still have the same issue? If yes, can you please share the Model and iPad OS version?

Thanks

Hi @zaums,

Thanks for sharing your screenshot and details, and sorry for running into this. We completely understand how frustrating it is when Adobe Express freezes on your mobile device, especially when it works fine on your Mac.

I have shared the case with our engineering team. In the meantime, you can try:

  1. Sign out and sign back in to your Adobe account.

  2. Make sure your iOS version is up to date.

  3. Close other apps to free up memory.

  4. Restart your device before launching Adobe Express again.

We really appreciate your patience. 🙏

The iOS Photoshop app is frozen, as in, it won’t allow user to click anywhere or use any of the app functionalities. Please advise on how to follow Step 1. “Sign out and sign back in to your Adobe account” with a frozen app. Thanks
