Adobe Express mobile app files not syncing with Cloud Docs

I've created an Instagram story via the mobile app and tried to share to my Insta account. Everytime I try, Express tries to compose a story with an image from another project.

"No matter, I'll log onto the Desktop and post from there. "
This is where I see the problem. 

The assets created on the mobile app have not been added to "My files" so I cannot continue to edit them on the desktop version of Express. When checking the Creative Cloud App, I cannot see the files there also.

Is there a problem with mobile app files not syncing with all the other cloud docs?
