Adobe Express Timeline Lag

Extreme amount of lag on my Adobe Express timeline. I have to download the video to get a realistic representation of where my elements and text are placed in relationship to the video. I then go back and edit my timeline. Back and forth.

Hi @william_4391. We are here to help. Here are some actionable steps to address this:

  • Lower Timeline Quality Temporarily:

    • If available, adjust the playback quality in the timeline to a lower resolution. This reduces the processing power needed during editing.
  • Close Background Apps:

    • Shut down other intensive apps or browser tabs to free up system resources for Adobe Express.
  • Optimize Your Video Elements:

    • Compress or resize video files before importing them. Large or high-resolution files can slow down performance.
  • Browser-Specific Solutions:

    • Use a supported browser (Chrome or Edge are recommended).
    • Clear the cache and cookies, and ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
  • Work in Smaller Sections:

    • Divide your video project into shorter segments and work on each one separately. Combine them during the final export to reduce lag during editing.

Let us know how it goes. Thanks ^CA
