Animation in Adobe Express

Unless I'm missing something, it's really frustrating that I can't just add new animation scenes to a project, instead of recording each character separately, and then downloading that project and then uploading that project to a new timeline in order to switch from one character to the other.  It would be so much better if you could just add a scene, pick a new character, record your voice and then add them to the overall project.
