App Video Clips Buffering /Not Loading / Audio Not Playing

Been having isses with the app last couple weeks with the videos once downloaded in a project not loading....just the spinning icon....very frustrating when attempting to put a video project from multiple clips together...some load just fine while others don't....please advise.....screen recording attached...app is up to date....using A Samsung Galaxy Note + .... Android 12 operating system.

    We’ve had similar issues with resources (stock music and video) not loading and needing to be reinserted every time. We also can’t download Adobe Express content. We’ve tried as jpgs, mp4s, and pngs. We keep getting error messages on our windows desktops saying: “Download Failed. We’re experiencing a temporary Adobe Stock service outage.” This has been going on for 3 days. We’ve tried shutting off our businesses security, restarting devices, and tried calling Adobe, which lead to someone answering but not talking. We’re not sure what else to try.

    Updated my phone...same issues....app works better on my iPad if that info helps at all.....app hasn't worked since I game my initial 5 Star review around the first week of April unfortunately.

    Hello,

     

    Since my last reply I've upgraded to a newer phone and installed Adobe Express on it.  Unfortunately since my initial 5 Star review of the app it hasn't performed.  I'm still experiencing the same issues....my most recent project is going in 10 minutes and counting and it's not loading....just buffering...attached are screenshots of the device check on Google Play to ensure the app works with my phone and that of my project buffering and the menu not even loading ...the app does work better on my iPad for whatever reasons I don't know.

    Hi ​@Reel Serious Anglers, Thanks for the update, and we’re sorry to hear you're still running into this even after switching to a new phone.

    The fact that you're seeing the same behavior on a different device, while the project works better on your iPad, is helpful information. Since the project appears to buffer indefinitely and even the menu isn't loading, we'd like to continue investigating this.

    Could you let us know:

    • Your new Android device model.

    • The installed Adobe Express app version.

    • Whether this happens with all video projects or only this particular one.

    • Whether you're connected to WiFi or mobile data when the issue occurs.

    • Whether you're using a VPN or have an active firewall enabled, as these can sometimes interfere with Adobe Express services.

    Your new Android device model: Motorola 2024 Moto G Stylus

     

    The installed Adobe Express app version:  30.6.0

     

    Whether this happens with all video projects or only this particular one: All projects since my 5 Star review back in April 2027....something changed around that time....before then I had absolutely no issues at all with the app.

     

    Whether you're connected to WiFi or mobile data when the issue occurs: It happens when connected to WiFi or Mobile.....I have Fiber Internet at my home .

     

    Whether you're using a VPN or have an active firewall enabled, as these can sometimes interfere with Adobe Express services: Not using a VPN and recently updated my router last week as well .

    Hello Adobe,

     

    I wanted to give an update on my issues I was having with the Adobe Express App....I ultimately had to uninstall the app and re-install to get it working again....it had gotten to the point where my video project would load but I couldn't do anything else....I was editing on another device (iPad) and attempting to download the project to my phone....but the app would just stall and I couldn't do anything like in my previous screen recordings.....so at least for my issue......the uninstall and re-install did the trick...

    Hi @Reel Serious Anglers, thanks for reaching out and sharing the details. This is definitely a frustrating experience.


    Since this is happening in the mobile app, it could be related to how media is processed or cached on the device. Please clear the app cache in your device settings, or reinstall it and then reopen the project. Also, check if this happens with all video clips or only specific ones. Try creating a new project and adding the same clips to see if the issue persists there as well.

    You may want to check the webapp's output too to see if it provides a similar experience.

    Ultimately I had to uninstall and reinstall just to get Adobe Express to allow me to download the video project I had to do on another device...I thought I was in the clear.....I deleted all of the uploaded files.....and the actual video project....and then signed into my Adobe account and permanently deleted the items there as well.....I started a new video project and the same issue is going on again...clips are loaded but I can't do anything....its seemingly stuck....menu not even loading at the top....please see screen recording.

    Thank you for the update and the new screen recording - and I'm really sorry the reinstall only provided a temporary fix. The fact that it's happening again on a brand new project tells us this is something we need to escalate beyond standard troubleshooting.

     

    I've raised this with our team along with both screen recordings. To help them investigate further, could you also share the project with us directly?

     

    • First, make a duplicate copy of the project for yourself so your work is safe
    • Then open the original, click Share > Who has access > Anyone and set to Can edit
    • Copy the link and send it to me via DM

     

    We want to get to the bottom of this for you!
