Bug: Linked brands/libraries not visible in shared template projects

Last week between September 24/25 we noticed a change in the Adobe Express Project viewing: We could no longer see Brands or Librairies linked to the project. Inicially we only looked for the folder that it has been shown as before, but found that the side tab "Project Info" now in includes linked Brands and Libraries - however non of the pre-existing connections are shown, so we don't have any linked material for our users accessing with a link.

We use the Projects to share templates internally in our orginisation, but since it is with 80+ people we only share the link and not add people with mail. Until now we have had Brand folders with logos and graphic elements that the users can change with the quick replace function, but with the new setup the folders are no longer visible for the people accessing and opening templates.

September 25 and 26 we have expiremented with linking up Brands and Libraries to make it visible for the shared users, but with no luck, our internal users who is invited with a link can't see the shared graphics.

Is it no longer an option to share graphics, Brands or Libraries with collaborators expect from inviting mannually with emails?

We are testing in browser (Chrome + Explore) on both Mac and Windows mashines.

Hi  @mahmoud_5524
For some reason this reply have been removed - I have a mail from Jan 15th that it got posted, but I can’t see it.

Post from Jan 15th:

We have run into the issue agian, where linked brands can't be found in shared projects.

I don't know if there have been an update to Express, we are never able to tell when that happen, but now we can't find the option to toggle on "Find via search".

We started getting reports yesterday (Jan 15th) that our users can't see the brands any more, in projects where they have been able to see brands.

Can you help looking into why it can't be seen anymore?

No worries at all, and thank you for the update. 😊 We’re glad to hear that enabling “Find via search” resolved the issue!

We really appreciate your patience and kind words. If you encounter anything else, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Sorry for the delay in reply.
But we just tested this morning, and enabling the setting "Find via search" fixed the issue.

Thank you very much for the great and thorough help!

Hi @Charlotte Bro37529716ku05 ,

I got an update for you about the second part of the issue. Our engineering team reported that the library within a project shared with everyone in the organization (with view and use access) isn't accessible to users because the project's discoverability is set to false. To make it accessible, you need to explicitly enable project discoverability by toggling the "Find via search" option in the project's sharesheet, as shown in the screenshot. Could you please try after enabling this setting?

Hi @mahmoud_5524
Do you have an update on the remaining part of our issue regarding having library linked to a project, and being accessable with share link invite?

Hi @Charlotte Bro37529716ku05 ,

Here’s an update regarding the issue where opening a brand or library via a copy link did not display it in the respective listing. The problem has been resolved on our side, and we are no longer able to reproduce it. It should now be working correctly for you. Please let us know if that's working for you.

For the other part of the issue, we are still working on a fix and will update you as soon as possible.

We can't get it to work, and now the brands also doesn't work (again).

First screenshot is from my end (with edit and view rights in folder): I can see that both brand and library have a linked destination to the project and I have tried relinking them.

Second screenshot is from a collegues view (only access through shared link): here we only see that there is a brand connected.

And last screenshot is from when same person tries to replace a link, choosing brand as replace option. Here they don't see the brand that was linked to the project.

The issue is the same as what was for the brand (which is now fixed) 🙂
When using a template, accessing the project with a share link, they can't see the library that is link to the project - and thereby the files in the library can't accessed.
