can't change animations

I have been trying to change the animation style on objects so I will remove the old animation and add the new one, but it hasn't changed on playback. Unless I delete the object and place it again, I can change the animation.

I don't see the same issue, so perhaps the conditions that trigger the bug are highly specific. Is it possible to post a screen recording showing the issue you are running into?
