Cannot Join Class on iPad

Students are having problems joining a class in Adobe Express app for iPad.  Scanning the code provided by the teacher with the camera app opens a browser with the Adobe Express app logo but nothing else.

 
If student signs into the app and goes to classes there is no button to join class or way to manually enter a class code.
 
Is this a known issue?

Adobe currently doesn't have an iPad version available, which is likely the reason. Adobe is due to release an iPad version soon. Working from a browser on a computer rather than iPads would be the best option in the interim.
