Canvas moves with every click, difficult to edit

Hi,

I think there’s some new behaviour in the desktop web version of Express. Every time I click a layer or group in my project, the canvas keeps shifting left and right, I’m guessing it’s to make room for the left-hand menu appearing.

The problem is, it’s making editing really difficult because it’s hard to predict when, if, and which way the project is going to shift. Sometimes there’s also a delay, and I end up clicking the wrong thing as a result.

Is there a way to disable this behaviour?
