Captions not showing up on video after "open in editor" is selected

When using the “caption video” shortcut, the captions aren’t actually there once I click “open in editor”. Usually I’m able to resize the captions, move them around, etc. but they are not showing up as a layer and are not visible on the video. I’ve tried restarting Express three times with no joy.

Hi Everyone! The issue has been resolved. Can you please recheck and confirm here if it’s working fine for you!

    Thanks!

I’ve been having the same problem recently; it sends the video back without captions.

Hi @lucy_8595 @bowie710, Thanks for bringing this up!

We were able to reproduce this and are currently investigating it. We’ll let you know once there’s an update.

Hi! Is there an ETA on when this will be resolved? Trying to meet a deadline and no other caption tool is as good as this one.

Having this same issue and it is infuriating as I’m working on social media posts for my podcast and this is a huge road block in the process. Also you can’t even download it without open in editor with the captions, it just essentially gives you back the same video you put in.

Oh no! Sorry to hear you’re having the problem as well. Hope Adobe fix it soon.
