Clip Maker is broken

There are no edit controls.  It's like this in Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.  I have restarted the browser, tried a different browser, cleared cookies and temp internet files.

It doesn't exactly "work fine", but it does work.  You need to close your browser and delete all cookies and temporary internet files for each and every video you clip, otherwise the top bar with the links to share and download refuses to load, and it won't actually save the clips in your files, so you have to start all over again. 

 

This is what's in the console when that happens:

 

Sometimes it's just easier to do it in a browser you don't use often so you can easily wipe out all the browser cookies and files without needing to login everywhere again.

Did you use Chrome or any other browser? Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?

I am using Express for Desktop. Has the Clip Maker feature been disabled?

Hey @deb_1452, Thanks for reaching out! I tried replicating this on the latest version of the Google Chrome browser (official build) on a Windows 11 device, and it worked fine for me. 

 

Please try using the Clip Maker tool in private/incognito browsing mode to see if that makes any difference.

I tested it yesterday afternoon, and yes, it has started working again, at least in Chrome.  I haven't tried other browsers.
