Colour picker not working

The colour picker doesn't seem to be working. I am trying to change the colour of a shape by selecting another colour in my project, but no matter what I select, my shape turns bright red, even though nothing red was selected with the eyedropper.

What do you have against Opera? Is one of the oldest browser on the market and still very well developed. I'm also very frustrated that adobe express is the one thing that I can't properly use in my favorite browser.

Here is a video of what is happening when I try and use the color picker

I am having the same issue. It's been happening.  Sometimes it works.  But most of the time the color picker isn't picking up a color and when I click it selects bright red.  I am using Chrome.  Today's date is 9/7/2024

Hi there. Having the same problem in June 2024 in Chrome on PC. Sometimes I can pick a color, but usually it turns bright red. When I scan around with the color picker, it appears to be scanning an entirely different image from my actual image, almost as if there's something else hidden in the file. And it appears to be the same mystery image each time.

Tried dumping cache, using Edge, etc. Doesn't fix it.

Yes, it doesn't appear. Works in Chrome, but not in Opera GX

Hey @Grzegorz35959798hori,

Welcome to the Adobe Express Community!

Opera GX is not one of the recommended browsers for Adobe Express as of now. We suggest using the recommended browsers for a smooth experience. For more details, you can refer: https://adobe.ly/3TAmAkZ;

Let us know if this helps!

Thanks,

Amitej

Thanks for your response. I just checked, and I got this as per the screenshot below. When you click on the dropper, you're not getting it correct.

Regards,

Tarun

I'm on Opera GX, by the way. Working on an image through "start from your content" option

Honestly I just gave up on the app completely.
I click on the dropper tool next to "background color" in the dialogue box and the only thing that happens is a 'blink' of the dialogue box, and nothing else.

Yes, it still doesn't work. Do you even test your products?

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about this and apologise for the delay. Are you still experiencing this issue? If yes, have you tried using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference? Try clearing the browser's cache and cookies.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun
