Copy and Paste do not work in Adobe Express

Copying and Pasting do not work in Adobe Express, for days now. CTRL C and CTRL V shortcuts do not work, either with objects or in text edit mode, and neither does right-clicking and selecting copy/paste from menu. Nothing happens. Copy & paste functions work everywhere else on my system. This bug happens in multiple browsers (Chrome + Edge), and I have deleted all caches and browsing data. Clipboard permission already allowed. Cut (ctrl x) deletes but does NOT copy to clipboard. Cannot paste copied content into any external app, but can paste text from external app into a text box in Express.

    FWIW, yesterday copy/paste started working again after about three weeks of not working. Guess they fixed it?

    I can’t copy and paste anything within Adobe Express in my browser. Copying from outside and in to Express works. I have tried updating my browser (chrome), using another browser (edge), remove cookies, making sure that the browser allows the clipboard, incognito mode in both chrome and edge… nothing helps. 

    I have to use the app on my phone when I want to copy an object between scenes. If i want to copy an object within a scene holding shift while dragging the mouse works.

    I’ve been in Adobe Express building a project, then opening Adobe Acrobat PDF in Edit mode and copying each element (copy) then into Express (paste) and its worked fine for several days, yet not today when I relaunched the project (Express) and started the Acrobat PDF file (edit mode) and tried copying (control-c) as well as right click copy, then into Express to right click paste and (control-v) and nothing happens?!     Using Google Chrome then Microsoft Edge to determine if it was a browser issue, neither browser app would allow me to cross platform the copy-paste as it had at one time, what’s going on??    Help!!

    Thanks for sharing the details. To help us narrow this down, could you let us know whether this is happening with just one specific PDF file or with every PDF you’re trying to copy? Are you able to copy and paste from within Adobe Express?

     

    Also, have you tried opening Adobe Express in an Incognito window to see if that makes a difference? This can help rule out browser cache or extension-related issues.

     

    Since when have you been noticing this behaviour change?

     

    As a quick next step, I’d also recommend restarting your device and then trying the copy‑paste flow again.
