Different fonts in mobile vs. desktop view

Hello dear Adobe Community,

hope you are well. I recently created a newsletter for our office colleagues, and everything looked fine until I went and send it out. We now for some reason have different fonts on mobile vs. desktop view, even though both were fine before. We checked MS Edge and Safari in mobile view, that didn't make a difference.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello everyone,

so, the issue more or less is fixed. In my own mobile view everything is fine, but my Line Manager has a different one (will attach a screenshot).

Is there a way to fix this and what caused this issue? Would really appreciate an answer since the last update on this was five weeks ago

Thanks a ton in advance and have a great day @Tarun Saini @mahmoud_5524

Hi @katina_ra ,

Can you please share the project link of the recent issue (with a text box ) via a DM with granted access to edit to share with our engineering team?

Thanks

@Tarun Saini @mahmoud_5524 Hello, are there any updates regarding these issues? I have run into another issue with text boxes that are different in mobile vs. desktop view and really would need your support here.

Hi @Tarun Saini , it's been almost two weeks, is there an update on this?

 Hello dear Community,

I have created a newsletter using a website layout from adobe express, and everything is built and looks good, except for an interview part where the text box is cut off weirdly (screenshots are attached)

In the desktop version, everything looks normal. (screenshots are attached)

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi @mahmoud_5524 , thank you so much for your help. Is there a reason this keeps on happening? We are planning three more newsletters and I would like to know how to avoid this from happening and having to contact you for the same issue again and again and again...

I'm also having a similar problem with custom fonts. The fonts show on the published webpage on  Edge but don't pull through to Safari, Chrome or Firefox

Hi @katina_ra,

Thanks for reaching out! Could you please tell us the name of the Adobe font you used in your file? Does that also happen when you use a different font? Was it looking fine after you downloaded the file from Adobe Express?

Also, did you use your own template or one from Adobe Express?

We're here to help, just need some info.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi Tarun,

thanks for your quick answer! We used our own fonts which we imported into Adobe, maybe that is the issue? And I maybe should add that it's not a newsletter format per se, but a website that we are using as newsletter. And it looked fine until we shared the link with others, this was when my line Manager suddendly got a different font on her mobile view. I then changed the font to another one becasue we assumed it had something to do with the specific font being downloaded to peoples computers, but once the font was changed to the one everybody has downloaded, my own mobile view changed as well... And when I went to change the font back, I only saw the change in the desktop view and not the mobile one... Please let me know if there is any other information I can share with you you need to find a solution for

All the best, Katina

Hi @katina_ra,

Thank you for the detailed explanation and for sharing the steps you already tried. We’ve shared this case with our engineering team for further review.

To help us narrow this down, could you please confirm which fonts you imported and whether the issue still occurs when using Adobe Fonts from our library?

We’re here to help and will keep you updated as soon as we have more information.
