Dissolve Transition pauses videos on both ends

Hi,

 

Is anyone else have this issue when you apply the dissolve transition - the first video stops playing just before the end of the transition, and the next video starts just after?  The result is a glitchy transition where the video starts from still image before playing. It's really such a simple thing that should work and it's really bugging me. Adobe Express is still so limited that bugs like this make me want to go back to Canva.

I've made dozens of videos myself and have the same issue. It seems like not a bug but just how they handle dissolve transitions. It looks bad though. I hope they make cross-fading clips smoother and also make it so we can apply the same transition and time settings across all clips.

We're sorry to hear about this. Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?
