"Download failed - We're experiencing a temporary Adobe Stock service outage" - Error

Been getting this error for over a week “Download failed - We're experiencing a temporary Adobe Stock service outage. Please try again later or contact Adobe Support for help”.  Done all the suggested fixes support offers, no change. Cannot download any project in any format.

    If anyone else is having this issue, I was just informed that it’s because my “plan does not include adobe stock”.  So if you’re paying the $479 for your creative cloud pro, just know it doesn’t inlcude stock, which is very disappointing. The agent couldn’t tell me if this was a new change, I’ve never had this issue before so I’m assuming it is.

    Following up with some new information - after looking into this further, it looks like the error you're seeing is actually caused by a network issue rather than a plan entitlement issue. The "Adobe Stock service outage" message is a generic error that can appear when the Stock licensing API fails to connect, including due to network timeouts or blocked endpoints.

     

    Could you check whether Adobe domains are whitelisted on your network? Your IT team can reference this list: Network Endpoints

     

    If you're on a home network and don't have IT restrictions, it may also be worth trying on a different network (e.g. mobile hotspot) to see if the issue follows you or is network-specific.

     

    Please let me know if you’re still blocked from downloads after adding the network endpoints.

    Sorry to hear this has been going on for over a week - that's a long time to be blocked from downloading anything!

     

    The "Adobe Stock service outage" error appearing on all downloads (not just Stock assets) is unusual and suggests something account or network-level may be interfering.

     

    Since standard troubleshooting hasn't helped, I'd recommend reaching out to our Chat Support team directly at https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html (click the three dots menu).

     

    A couple of things that would also help us investigate:

    • Are you on a work or school network? If so, it may be worth asking your IT team to check that Adobe domains are whitelisted: https://adobe.ly/42zBFq0
    • Does this happen on a different network and/or on mobile data if you’re using an app (e.g. home wifi vs work)?
