Downloading PNG

On Friday, students were able to download pngs to their chromebooks without issue. Today they are unable to. I am also unable to download them from my teacher page. I've done the troubleshooting tips of emptying the cache and cookies and still no luck.

Many School districts download to their cloud storage first, you then need to make a local copy.  In my case if I download a file, as what you describe I have to go to my cloud storage spot on the school network, and unless I make a local copy onto the computer I'm logged into it will remain in cloud storage, in my canse my district "OneDrive".

Thanks for your response

If you recently installed a pop-up blocker or any third-party Plugins/Extensions, try disabling them and see if that helps. Are you on VPN? Did you try on the incognito mode? Please try signing out and signing in again. Also, try restarting the device and let us know how that goes.

Thank you for the response! It's not an error message. It goes through the full download process like it normally does. It gets to 100% but then it doesn't download itself onto the device. So it seems as though you've downloaded it successfully, but it doesn't. When I do it as a pdf it does the same thing and the download box appears.

Hi

@jared_3354

We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know what error message you're getting? Can you share the screenshot of the error message? Did you try using other suggested browsers like Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome, or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?

We're here to help, just need some info.

Regards,

Tarun
