Express only exports as spreads, but won't export individual pages for print

I brought in a leaflet design file from Indesign to Express. However, after setting everything up in Express I realized that when trying to re-export the leaflet as a PDF again, it would not export as individual pages. Instead everything would export as spreads which can't be sent to a printer.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi @MLu_Bibs,

Thanks for reaching out — and we totally get how frustrating that can be when preparing a file for print.

Currently, Adobe Express exports multi-page documents as spreads, not individual pages. While there's no built-in toggle for single-page export just yet, here are a couple of options you can try:

  1. Workaround in Acrobat: After exporting the PDF from Express, you can open it in Adobe Acrobat and use the Organize Pages tool to split spreads into individual pages.

  2. Set up pages individually: If your layout allows, you can create each leaflet page as a separate project or page in Express to export them individually.

We’ve heard this feedback from other users as well, and we recommend sharing your request directly via our Adobe Express UserVoice page here:

This helps our team prioritize improvements like this for future updates.

Let us know if you need help with Acrobat or splitting the file — we’re here for you!
