Eyedropper tool not functioning correctly (Red)

As many other people seem to have had this issue with the eyedropper tool, I am also constantly having issues with it ignoring the background and showing white. When I select the white displayed on the cursor, it turns the selected item red. Please respond with some form of expectation with how swift this might be fixed, or if there are any actions on my end to attempt to troubleshoot it. This has been consistently happening for months now.

After looking more carefully at the preview of the eyedropper, it seems to be trying to take items from my second monitor for the preview.

As for why it turns red, I am not sure why. There is no red shown on my screen aside from in the Adobe Express logo shown on the Google Chrome tab as well as the Google Chrome logo itself.

Hi @paucar, we are here to help.

Can you please temporarily disable your second monitor and see if the eyedropper tool behaves normally when using only one screen. This will help confirm whether the issue is tied specifically to the multi-monitor setup.

Also, you can try changing which monitor is set as your primary display through your system settings. Sometimes design tools like Adobe Express get confused when trying to reference multiple monitors, and this might help realign its functionality.

Let me know if you need help with any of these steps!

Thanks, ^CA
