Eyedropper Tool Not Working Properly in New Adobe Express

I have found the Eyedropper tool to stop working every time is saves. It brings up the tool itself, but when I tap, it doesn't sample the color. Just goes back to the window. Restarting the program seems to be a fix, but even switching between images in Adobe Express Breakes the EyeDropper. I need to restart the program on every image I am editing.

I'm having the same problem, and unfortunately, none of these options works.  I can't even get the tool to open, I click on an element, say a rectangle, click the fill box, and then the eyedropper and my cursor just disappears. To get my cursor back on the screen and it comes back.  I'm on a full updated version of Chrome and Express.

Hi @Landon31140111cl4u. If the Eyedropper tool  is not working properly, here are some steps to resolve the issue:

Clear Cache and Restart

  • Browser Version: Clear your browser cache and cookies, then restart the browser and reload Adobe Express.
  • App Version: Clear the app cache if you're using a mobile device or desktop app. Check the settings or app manager for this option.

Update Adobe Express

  • Ensure Adobe Express is updated to the latest version. New updates often fix bugs.

Check for Compatibility Issues

  • Test the Eyedropper tool on different browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) or devices (mobile, desktop) to determine if the issue is device-specific or browser-related.

Disable Extensions or Add-Ons

  • If using the browser version, disable any extensions (e.g., ad blockers) that may interfere with the functionality.

Reset the Tool

  • If Adobe Express offers a reset option for the Eyedropper tool, use it to restore default settings.

Temporary Workaround

  • If restarting fixes the tool temporarily, consider grouping your edits to minimize the need for frequent switches. This can save time and effort until the issue is patched.
