"File can't be created" for MP4

App version: 27.4.0

Platform and OS: Mac, Sequoia 15.3.2

 

I want to download a video for upload to YouTube. The Download progresses, the % displayed updating gradually, and it says it completes, "Your download is complete!" But there is no actual download that appears and there is another notification immediately after that says "File could not be created". 

 

I have cleared my Google Chrome cache and cookies, shrunk the video size by deleting a portion of the video, and ensured that all video components loaded correctly. How could I get the video to download?

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. You might also want to test these:

  • Test in different browsers  - Firefox, Edge, Safari
  • Test in incognito/private browsing mode -  https://adobe.ly/4ltOJGm
  • Try creating a duplicate instance of the file and test from there
