In Adobe Express, when editing an image and removing image elements using the AI Remove Object tool, the finalized image never becomes available for downloading (even after 1 hour, or refreshing the webpage). IF closing out of the browser and reopening the same page at a later time, the finalized image is gone - leaving the user to have to restart the editing from scratch.

Hi @jean_4680

A closer look at your logs revealed something interesting: the image you are using the AI Remove Object tool on appears to be a .webp file type. This should be supported, but I was able to replicate the behavior with one of my .webp files.

Let me investigate this further. In the meantime, try converting the .webp to a .jpg or .png and then try AI Remove Object. You can use this tool: https://www.adobe.com/express/feature/image/convert/webp-to-png

Hope this helps,

Abhi G

Hi Abhi, I tried with a new file and the behavior continues. I had two different pages inside the one test Express file. Finalized images still cannot be downloaded or saved (I've trying saving each finalized image while it is on the screen using each file format option provided (png, jpg, pdf), none work.

When navigating to the first page and attempting to save the image, a window pops up stating "Almost Complete   .. 90% complete" - this pop-up remains unchanged and frozen thereafter. It is then not possible to exit and the page has to be force reloaded.

After force reloading the file, the second page is blank. This is what has happened the entire time.

Hi @jean_4680

I checked your logs and do see evidence of this behavior. Is it happening on one specific Express file? Could you try this workflow in a brand new Express file? If it's specific to one Express file, and you really need it to work there, I can try to fix the file (please send me DM).

Thanks
