Files deleting after download - Not showing up in deleted folder

This has happened to me twice, I have created a captioned video for social media. I completed the video and downloaded, then come back another day to make additional edits or revisions and my file has been deleted, not by me. It can not be found in my deleted files in Creative Cloud either.

      Hi ​@AMeyerAB , this shouldn’t be happening. 

      Could you please confirm if you were signed into the same account when you returned to edit the file? Sometimes files can appear missing if they were created under a different account or profile.

      If that’s not the case, let us know if this has happened only with video files or with other file types as well. Also, were there any active sessions on multiple devices with the file open, or was the file shared with someone else?

       

      It would also help to know if the file was moved or renamed at any point. Once we have these details, we can look into this further.

      Yes I am signed in with my same business account. This just happened again for two different projects. I worked on them last night, and this morning it is like they did not exsist. It always happens when I work on video caption projects. I have only worked on these projects on the same computer and device. Both projects got renamed from the generic quick action caption video to the final video name. The files are not in the deleted folder or even in my uploaded files.
