FIXED -❗Facebook and Instagram scheduling outage❗May 17th, 2024

Hi Everyone!!

It is not currently possible to connect or publish on Facebook or Instagram through Adobe Express. This issue is a high priority, and the teams are working to resolve it. However, currently,  there is no ETA, so we recommend manually publishing your posts.

 

We apologize for the frustration and will provide updates as soon as the issue is resolved.

While this may have been a Meta issue, it does serve to demonstrate how important this feature is to Express customers --- especially those of us who left Hootsuite or other social media post-scheduling platforms in favor of Adobe.

On Friday for multiple times I selected X, FB * Insta - chose 'Publish now' option, but initially received error message saying something like, Facebook services were unavailable.... which meant neither FB or Insta would publish. Upon checking connections, both were showing 'connected' but would not work due to the error. I left it 1 day as I know sometimes a service may be down temporarily, and tried later that day, but same problem. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting to FB * Insta, but same problem. I tried again the next day and all appeared to be well as same error message was not appearing... but when I came to publish another error appeared, initially saying it was publishing, but then an error message also appeared to say 'Something has gone wrong. Please try again later' - see attached. I discovered later on Saturday that despite the error messages, the FB & Insta had in fact been sent!... multiple times as I assume I retried are each error message said there had been a problem.... but also apart from those two somehow being sent multiple times, the Twitter post has NOT been sent. So today anon I tried and that still refuses to publish, giving the same error message as attached. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting Twitter within Express, but same error message each time. So I still cannot post to Twitter!

working so far. thank you for the swift work and for clarifying the confusing aspects of what was going on. i appreciate it. working on uploading/scheduling things right now and so far so good.

As @kwmellon noted, this should be fixed now. Could you please try now and let us know if you still see issues connecting/scheduling to Facebook/Instagram?
