Floating Menu

I hate this thing. It blocks my view of my project and gets in the way when I try to select objects. Can it be disabled (like in Photoshop)?

    Photoshop (desktop app) has a way to hide the floating task bar. Then you can bring it back via the Window menu. Express doesn't have a way to hide (even temporarily) this hidden menu. By default, Express appears to put this floating menu on top of the selected item, even when there is space above the page to put it (and where it wouldn't be in the way as much).
