The "focal point" feature for the header images is not processing properly. Student users try to select a focal point in their photo, but the default orientation returns upon saving.

This issue effects (at least) Safari on macOS Tahoe 26.6.2

Issue: “Focal point” feature will not keep the focus on the desired area of the header photo
Product: Adobe Express (Web)
Platform: Safari on macOS Tahoe 26.6.2

Steps:

  • Open a design
  • Select the header image
  • Click “focal point”
  • Hold and drag cursor to adjust image orientation
  • Press “Save”

Expected: Image orientation will change depending on the user’s chosen focal point

Actual: Image orientation does not change
